It's a fun little product, but the unit delivered was used and already scratched and worn, and microphone seems defective or damaged. This is a great pity as it came straight from Amazon.

Unfortunately mine arrived with many faults. Constant freezing, and battery life only lasting a few days. Despite using different brand new, high quality AAAs. The concept is excellent, but quality control is clearly lacking.

I got a bit bored of listening to Spotify while I travelled and wanted to continue to make my own beats! This pocket-size device is awesome for just that, and more importantly, you can record samples! Ideal fro recording the train station announcements and making mashed-up tracks with the samples you've recorded! Takes a while to get you're head around but you'll be making beats in no time! I love this little thing. It sits somewhere between a real professional tool and a toy. It's very small and portable, battery life is pretty good, and it can make a wide range of sounds. Getting a whole track devoted to Tonic is a huge upside; the drum sounds are deep and customizable, and the sequencer is great. Biggest limiting factors are that you are limited in terms of the sounds you can apply to the samples, and also there is two-voice polyphony: one synth sound and one drum sound on any given step. However, despite these limitations, the possibilities are still pretty deep, and chaining patterns together in a pseudo-"song mode" is possible. Overall, for $100, it's a great buy for anyone who loves synthesizers and music production. I wouldn't recommend this to a first-time synth buyer but if you already have a collection and want something fun and diverting, this is the one to get.

Un prodotto facile e divertente da usare e ricco di funzioni e parametri. È come avere un sintetizzatore vocale, campionatore e sequencer nel palmo di una mano. Mi ha impressionato il live recording, simile a quello dei prodotti Elektron. C'è pure la possibilità di trasferire i file con Microtonic di Teenage Engineering (venduto separatamente). Unica "pecca" la polifonia limitata a due voci. Purtroppo ho dovuto chiedere la sostituzione perché è arrivato col display LCD in frantumi, la confezione del PO-35 Speak è praticamente inesistente, si tratta di un cartoncino sottile che non lo copre nemmeno tutto e il prodotto è stato spedito in una busta che non lo ha protetto adeguatamente.

Ich finde den Pocket Operator richtig genial. Leicht zu bedienen. Voll im Klang! Schade nur das es irgendwie mit meiner Bestellung bei Amazon nichts wird. Habe den Po-35 bestellt und den Po-33 zugesendet bekommen. ---> Also wieder verpackt und zurück mit der Bitte um Austausch. ---> Dann den richtigen bekommen, beim Auspacken leider gesehen das das Display Flecken hat. ---> Nochmals zurück geschickt und einen neuen bestellt: Habe mich schon wirklich gefreut aufs spielen, doch beim Auspacken sind beim jetzigen Gerät wieder Flecken am Display zum Vorschein gekommen. Werde ihn jetzt zurückschicken und probieren ihn vielleicht wo anders zu kaufen. Wie gesagt das Produkt ist top, nur will ich bei einem Neukauf nicht einen störenden optischen Fehler am Gerät!

Desde luego te pasas horas jugando con el bichito y salen resultados únicos y verdaderamente inesperados (a veces bien, otras no, algunas veces crea aliens únicos e irrepetibles que yo de ti guardaría en un Daw externo, foraster@). Parece un juguete pero no, nada de eso. Soy músico con 30 años de sintetización y este chiquitín se ha ganado mi respeto por su magnífica versatilidad a pesar de sus lógicas cortedades dado su precio (no esperéis calidad de sonido de grabación, es un lo/fi muy lo/fi). En resumen: horas de experimentación con un aparatito que verdaderamente puede dar un guiño personal a tu música. Super contento.
