BEST BANG FOR YOUR BUCK$$
Great flashlight. It’s about the size of a permanent marker. Fits great in the palm of my hand and is of a solid build. Lighting is adjustable for low, medium, Hi, and turbo mode. Tactical switch is great and carry ability is easy with the clip which is to the end of the light unlike other lights I’ve seen. Battery is rechargeable. Also it comes with two emergency silicone cone adapters which is awesome! Great value for the Money!!

Very good light in slightly larger package
Great light. Works off rechargeable (USB-C) battery or 2 AA alkaline or lithium in a pinch. Extra rechargeable batteries are available from acebeam.com for very reasonable price as well. Tail switch allows for silent press for full power light. Click tail switch and then you can move between light power options with side switch. Length of light gives good purchase vs some handy but much smaller lights. That said the light is barely noticeable in your pocket except occasionally sitting. The full power initial setting is VERY bright…great if carrying for possible defensive use or to light up big space. It is too much for many ordinary tasks so expect to use that side switch to turn it down for those applications. CONS: have to remove battery to charge it. The battery does not charge quickly so my suggestion is to get an extra from ace beam. External charging ports or magnetic conductive charging from other brands will spoil you. Not a perfect light but if the minor charging issue doesn’t bother you and you want something just a little easier to hang onto than the small lights (however because no one holds flashlights in their mouth while working on something…this light is a mouthful vs something like a baton III or IV)…this is a very good light for the price. I’ve carried it EDC for weeks with complete confidence.

This is a flashlight! ... Yes, Also a TAC Light!
It works far more effectively and efficiently than most. FACTs: Its monetary value, brightness, charging capability, battery life, compact size, versatility and its rugged durablity ... collectively, makes this ACEBEAM TAC 2AA EDC a must have. WHY? It works extremely well. Here are a few reasons why I love this ACEBEAM 1400 High Lumens Flashlight. 1. Once you've selected your desired light setting. The flashlight stays / remains on that setting each time you power it ON and OFF ... even while it's in Standby Mode. 2. The adjustment capabilities of this TAC light seemlessly converts from a top quality flashlight into a Super Torch light when you rapidly double click the light sequence button. This function is acheived when the flashlight is in Standby. Tripple clicks engages the Torch light to flash. QUESTION: Did someone say ... Bright, or ... BRIGHTER? ALSO NOTE: When the Torch light is on ... The tip of the TAC light gets HOT! real fast! However, It equally cools rapidly when you disengage the function. 3. With the Amber and the Clear/off White silicone caps that comes in the package ... ACEBEAM TAC 2AA EDC transforms into an emergency becon for the unexpected stranded in the dark, on a lonesome roadway, waiting for a tow truck, given the dreaded car failure ... or while you're out hiking the trails. You go off track and somehow, you end up getting lost in the woods. Knowing this, you need to track back, but its late night and it's dark. Here's another true to life experience ... Your vessel has lost power on the open seas, thus leaving you isolated in the pitch black, far away from other mariners. However, your rescuers are diligently searching for you, hoping to see a glimmer of light. In these extremes, having an ACEBEAM TAC 2AA EDC flashlight definitely helps in displaying your location ... as well as, illuminating your path home. ADDED FACTs: ACEBEAM TAC 2AA EDC is lite in weight, easy to use ... and constructed to endure the unintended knock arounds and the abusive drops ... due to, its rugged Aluminum frame. THE LOOK, THE FUNCTION and THE FEEL: The design is streamlined impressive, having the Power button center placed at the bottom of the cylindrical frame. This design functionality also, allows you to securely stand the flashlight upright, hands free, as you power through various tasks when using the Amber or the off White silicone caps to spread the illumination throughout your desired area. Likewise, the placement of the Light Sequence Mode / Standby button compliments the impressive ergonomics of the grippy frame. In additon to, the adjustable pocket clip which also clips to your baseball cap, when it's needed, makes EDCing this TAC light, paper weight ... Furthermore, this Matt blue TAC light is my standout favorite. Which concludes for me ... My DISLIKEs: Unfortunately ... "I have NONE."

Good quality flashlight with useful features
I purchased this light to have in my shirt pocket at work. So far it has worked well. The only negative is that it is a little bulky, but it is a durable construction and should last awhile. The two brightness settings are perfect. The brighter setting can sometimes reflect too much light, but change to the dimmer setting and you can continue your inspection. The battery life is good, not great. It is rechargeable, though you have to remove the battery to do so. I haven't used the rubber tips that come with the light too much, but I like the idea. It turns the unit into a lamp. Overall, it is a nice flashlight and well constructed. I mentioned it is bulky, but fits in my pocket or clips to my hat just fine.

Acebeam TAC 2AA (good price, good light)
Nice hot spot, and flood, modes are simple to go through, about the size of a sharpie pen, fits good in the hand, battery life is amazing charging is no problem, a bit to long for EDC, it is noticeable in the pocket, but GREAT flashlight

great bright flashlight at a good price
I love the thin profile of this bright flashlight. I do not like pocket clips or lanyards on this 6" flashlight, so I bought a $10.00 nylon holster. The sides switch turns red when power goes below 30%, which is a nice touch. Also nice is that I can see the side switch in the dark. Seems to reasonably durable with no nicks or scratches. Now, about the common customer complaints: 1) it gets hot of COURSE it gets hot in sustained turbo mode. It has a AA size LED putting out 1400 claimed lumens. If you have a need for a super bright thrower lit for extended periods, perhaps for search and rescue, security, etc... get a bigger torch with a big heat sink. I like having TAC turbo available for emergencies, but the dog and I never use it when we go for a walk. EDC bright mode is plenty bright for 99.99% of my needs. (and it doesn't even get warm) I believe Acebeam SHOULD warn against prolonged use in Turbo mode due to overheating. 2) The battery size is funky and I can't find them. No... You won't find 14100 batteries at the discount store, but I had no problem getting a spare online. 3) the battery life is poor Not for me. Lasts plenty long per charge...but then, I don't run it full blast for hours at a time. I put my spare battery in while I charge the other (which takes a while) Two AAs work, but not nearly as bright. 4) Flashlight died a quick death. Well... I use it every night, but I have only had it two months. There is always a chance of getting a lemon. If mine does die prematurely and if Acebeam doesn't take care of it, then I will update my rating to WARNING ! DO NOT BUY!!!! 5) the one colored blue is unattractive then ... ... why did you buy it in blue???? Mine looks great in "desert" ...and basic black is always fashionable. still going strong at 4 months. Will update if / when it dies.

Very bright pocket light
What a great light. I got it around half off and it goes on sale periodically. I like getting deals so I probably wouldn't pay full price. The light is really amazing for its size and I appreciate that it's rechargeable. I highly recommend the blue color as it has a different emitter than the other colors which makes the light go much further.

Small, But Mighty! Worth the price is subjective...
I bought this flashlight in October 2025 and so far it has been very useful at work. I did encounter the problem more than once where the flashlight wouldn't turn on. But then I put it on the charger and it worked again. It does get hot if you have the brightest setting, but I don't use it on that particular setting for a long time. Overall, I really like how compact it is and the blue is beautiful! I dedicated a star for the mishap of it not working more than once and for the battery taking awhile to fully charge. Unsure if the $25 price tag is worth it for this EDC flashlight. But for my needs, it gets the job done and I've gotten compliments on it!
