Own opinion
The item is excellent I have now better WiFi in my home. It is more than I need but I want to be ready for future ISP upgrade .

Great WiFi coverage.
Lightening spoed with great coverage. New to omada but it's so easy to setup and the next one is even easier if you get more as it just uses the same configuration.

Stronger, more reliable wi-fi
Although geared more towards business, this access point is a really good option for anyone looking to improve the strength and speed of their Wi-Fi at home.Because I work from home and my outside office is quite far from the router, I wanted to install this at the furthest point of my house and so far it has done an excellent job in boosting the signal, speed and reliability of my connection. Whereas before I got a fair few drop-outs and pretty low speeds, I'm not very close to what I was getting when working from a laptop inside. You could use this on a desk or side, but the idea really is that you mount it to the ceiling. You will need to do a bit of cable management here and decide how you are going to power it. PoE is probably going to be the best option for most, where you can use an Ethernet Cable to power it from a router, but there's other options too.Overall, if you have the time and willingness to spend a bit of time attaching this to the ceiling and running a cable to it in a neat way, this is an excellent option for stronger and more reliable wi-fi.

Works very well, but not a fan of the forced use of Festa Cloud Controller :(
Well I have been using the TP-Link Festa F61 AX1800 and the TP-Link Festa F52 AC1350 for a while now along with my other separate Wireless Access point of another brand, so these two reviews will be similar. What I have learnt is you are forced to use their Cloud Controller to mange and control these Wireless Access Points, sure you can set them up and configure them directly, sadly you have absolutely zero encryption, meaning anyone sniffing the WIFI bands will see your devices sending the password in plaintext. And that is bad.Now if using the Festa Cloud Controller which is free, you can setup each Access Point individually and if they support Meshing like these two does you can have them work together to reduce dead spots.Using the Festa Cloud Controller it was very easy to setup, its very similar to another well known brand, sadly you cannot self host your own Controller like you can the other brand. One thing I really do like about these two Access Points is that they both come with everything that is needed to get them working. The F61 AX1800 supports the following:[Power Types]• 802.3af PoE• 48V Passive PoE• 12V/1A DC (Power Adapter Included)[Mounting Types]• Ceiling /Wall Mounting (Kits included)• Junction Box MountingWIFI Standards: IEEE 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac/axI would have love for this to have a 2.5Gbit Ethernet Port so that you can use the full speed supported. While the Festa Cloud Controller is free now, this may change in the future, so a self hosting Controller would be nice.Other than that, it works rather well.Overall I am happy with it apart from the no self hosting of the controller. Therefore I will give this product a 4 star rating.

Fantastic Coverage
I have been using this WiFi access point device for my house, primarily to help the speeds and connection in my home office. It has helped dramatically by giving me a stable connection and faster speed than before. Really easy to set up

Great price and functions
I got the lower end model from this range and intend to use it at home for providing an isolated IoT network. This price is good and I guess because it has been overtaken by faster model, but is great for my limited use. The docs and branding are a bit confusing, but I found the manual for it online to allow configuration locally without the need for an actual cloud account; something I needed as this intranet is isolated from the Internet. The default IP allows access and it came with a PSU allowing direct power, with POE an alternative. It is clean looking for domestic use, about twice the size of a smoke alarm with one blue LED.Although at the lower end of the range, having WiFi 6 is great and and the other specs are still very current; even with WiFi 7 rolling out, most of my IoT and guest devices are 6 or lower.A great WAP at a great price.Review of item: TP-Link Festa F61 AX1800 Ceiling Mount Wi-Fi 6 Access Point, Mesh & Seamless Roaming, Gigabit PoE Port, Easy setup

Excellent range and bandwidth, although a bit fiddly to set up
While this WAP is targeted at businesses, it provides a perfect solution for my home.It feels solidly built and is about the shape and size of a smoke detector, only thinner, and is also easy to attach to a wall or ceiling with the bracket and screws provided. Having the PoE option meant I could mount this on the ceiling centrally upstairs in our house without worrying about where I was going to get power from, and its signal strength has meant that I now have 100% WiFi coverage upstairs. WiFi 6 also has also made a noticeable improvement with speed, particularly with my wife and daughter's devices as they both work upstairs, and the signal is so superior to my router's built-in Wifi in my office that my office devices (downstairs) also hook into the AX1800.So I am very pleased and heartily recommend the AX1800 WAP.For a home environment, I found the setup fiddly even though I initially chose the home setup. Registration was a pain as the initial email to confirm validity has never arrived, so attempts to login failed without explanation until I re-registered with a lesser used email address (which did receive the registration "Click here to confirm" email). You then have to set up a virtual cloud-based controller, add a site and finally add the WAP.However, now it is running, the initial niggles are long forgotten.
