My Arcade Pole Position Racing Player: Retro Mini Arcade Game Console with 2 Games, Real Racing Controls Full Color Screen

This is a cool little game and the steering wheel I'm surprisingly well responsive with a nice feel that doesn't feel cheap like you might expect from a product like this. I don't know if it uses the original ROM or not, but it seems to play like I remember it all those years ago.

Contains both Pole Position and Pole Position 2. Very playable although I'm awful at all of them. Controls are excellent, as is the screen. Recommended.

I got this because I love these mini arcade cabinets and this one did not disappoint. Unlike the tiny one which is basically a side-to-side joystick, this one is actually a wheel with break and accelerator pedals. The steering is surprisingly smooth. I wasn't expecting that kind of quality from an all-plastic device. Overall, I would say this is a great little console. I only give it 4 stars because it didn't work out of the box no matter what batteries I put in it. I had to plug it in first and then it worked with batteries, which was odd.

I was waiting for this collecible for a good while. And well worth the wait. All works as it is supposed to. Every button works.Sound is great, louder than other models from MyArcade. Loved that includes both Pole Positions I and II.The steering was something I was hoping not to be toyish, and they delivered, is an encoder type with no end stops like the original.Of course brake and accelerator pedals are not proportional, but serve the purpose.Yup, I liked it. Brings back tons of memories from back at the Arcade. And just to think of all the Quarters I out on this one .... I am playing the heck out of this one. Lol.The only gripe? AMAZON Packaging, mine came with the plastic box cracked!!! Not sure how amazon decides what goes in a box and what in a bag or whatever. Mine came in an unpadded, not even wrecked paper to absorb shaking inside, I could had happened when one of their robots picked it up and slammed it in the carboard box. But at least it was not crushed as others. (Friend's of mine was really destroyed).

Pole Position is a classic arcade game and this gives you the opportunity to play Pole Position and Pole Position II.

As the title suggests, I find these little arcade cabinets to be very cool collector's items. They are definitely plastic and, as such, they are more toy-ish than of a super high, actually functional/playable build quality, so I would not necessarily recommend these for any serious gaming.However, as a display piece on your desk, shelf, etc., or even to pick up and play a quick round with just once in a while, they are great little machines. In short, it truly depends what you are looking for with these, but if that is what you are going for, you should not have any complaints.

This device doesn't look like the original Pole Position cabinet and nor does it feel like it was made from the same quality of materials obviously. But what it does do is some exceptionally is play Pole Position just the way you remember it. I have very little myArcade toys, but this is the best that they have ever made. Made. It is Worth every cent.
