A few years ago I was given the much smaller, round version of this and it was good. But I purchased this larger, more current model for my desk and it's wonderful. Don't be fooled by it's compact size - This produced a nice rich sound. Easy to set up and trust me --- I'm terrible at anything technical but this is easy and quick to set up. The design is sleek and will work in any room or setting.

The media could not be loaded. I love its smart home capabilities! Good sound too, great value on discount! In a city with bipolar wether, it’s nice to ask if it will rain and google responds “probably not, x% chance of rain for next 5 hours” or ask it to turn of outlets, lights, bulbs, play music, start roborock, and on top of being a good quality speaker. It actually looks stylish too!

Purchased this to add to our existing collection for our google smart home. This sits in between our open living and dining room. It has great sound, clear treble, and surprising but clear bass. The volume easily fills two medium sized rooms, and if you already have one, you can create speaker groups to fill you house with music. It’s the most affordable way I’ve found to get whole house audio, plus the added benefit of smart speaker functionality. It has a clean form factor that works with most homes, doesn’t Stan out too much, but gets noticed omces the turns start.

I’m so happy with my Google Nest Audio! As a mom, I use it all day—whether it’s playing music while I cook, setting timers during homework time, or answering the million questions my kids ask (“Hey Google, what noise does a zebra make?”). The sound quality is surprisingly rich and fills the room, and it looks sleek and modern on the shelf. It connects easily to my phone and other smart devices, and I love that I can control lights or ask for the weather while folding laundry. It’s like having a helpful assistant in the house. Needed a smart speaker since my parents always put music on for the dogs and I don't like my dog in a empty quiet house. But also a speaker that sounds decent when doing stuff around the house when I don't want to put headphones inEasy to set up on android, open the home app and it will recognize it on boot up. Compared to the Google home mini it has a good sound range and decent bass as well. It can get loud and once the Bluetooth is set up it will stay on wifi after.It uses more power than a mini nest or home mini but that doesn't matter much. It isn't the best smart speaker on the market with other built in sensors but it works with my mini and making routines as well as pairing speakers makes it sound much better when the whole downstairs floor sounds like one speaker in the walls . Will recommend especially if you get multiple ones

I almost never write reviews but this device is so frustrating, I'm here going out of my way to share my thoughts. First off, setup and sound are both great, especially for small spaces - I have one in my office pod and it's perfect for filling this reasonably small space with quality sound. It syncs with my vol controls (mac), and play/pause are both very responsive for a BT device.That's where the good stops. This thing reliably disconnects after 30-45min of continuous playback (spotify) when paired to a mac...every...time. App doesn't let it reboot in this state, you have to un/replug the device in. And then it goes on to verbally remind you that the mic is turned off, which, when it's in this state (I never want/trust google voice controls), it displays 4 orange lit dots on the front of the device. Always. The pros do not outweigh the cons with this device, which is a shame given the form factor and sound quality. Do yourself a favor and find something simpler and less bad.

Sounds great for the size. Was not really expecting it to be that loud and sound well. It also looks great, and is very responsive.
