Not really a dual plane
Advertised as a dual slope laser, but without a digital readout, it's basically impossible to actually set a dual slope. You can buy a topcon that does a manual single slope for the same money.

Poor support
The slope mode is not stable. Works for about 10 minutes before out of adjustment. Poor support from Johnson.

First thread in the bottom broke lazer seems good quality other then that

Great buy for the money
Is it a top on? No does it work well? Yes absolutely if you know what you’re doing you will have great success with this laser if you don’t know what you’re doing you will blame the laser. I checked its level and it is in fact as accurate as it says it is, you do need a receiver or you’ll have zero success. My battery life is great, I’ve had no issue an it has a back up that you can use store bought batteries which is nice, overall it’s a good value considering the distance and competition. I would recommend.
