DFJ short throw shifters have been designed for budget minded racers without sacrificing quality or reliability. All short throw shifters are precision CNC machined out of billet steel for strength and long lasting durability. Our kits include all necessary hardware for a simple and pain-free installation. Replaces the OEM shift lever with no modifications required. Up to 40% reduction in shifter throw for a much faster, precise, and controlled gear shifting motion. A chrome shift knob is also included, but is also compatible with the OEM shift knob, or any shift knob with the same thread pitch as the OEM shift knob. Lifetime warranty. Shorter throw and weighed knob. Actual steel selector shaft and not an all aluminum
If you want durability at a shorter throw, this is the kit. The knob is very slippery and the shaft is a bit on the heavy side. However, the quality is cnc and a solid piece like the description said. You simply cannot beat the quality of cnc.For the price, it is very good. I didn't noticed any poor QC in usage. Throws shorter, better and smoother than my OEM setup.
