This is an excellent value for money item. It is well made and has exceptional performance, particularly in night mode, which is enabled automatically. The phone app that it connects to natively is easy to use both on and off your home network. All features are configurable, although some more advanced items like changing camera names and passwords take a little more navigation into the app's tools and settings. As well as its own app, I wanted to view this camera in some older no longer supported software that I had, so I contacted Septekon customer service. Their performance was outstanding. emails were replied to in minutes by a customer service agent who understood all of the technical questions I was asking, and was able to offer detailed replies that eventually got the camera integrated into my old software, alongside all of my old cameras. Truly, a pleasure and an impressive company. I am so pleased and I am about to order another four to replace more older cameras on my system.

Great quality camera and easy to initially set up. The main problem I had was locating the SD card slot as the screws were hidden didn't realise where they were. I messaged support and they replied with 20 minutes with the answer. It is located within the wiring of the camera so you need to be careful when inserting the card. Other than that great camera for the money.

I hardly write reviews but this camera is great and everyone needs to know :) It's really easy to set up and the picture is great you can choose 24/7 recording or set times its brill i can't recommend it enough prefect frontdoor cam or area camera sound recording and two way talking is great really clear and loud, the WiFi connectivity is really quick and strong once connected, the app is really easy to use the storage is good and play back of videos is great I will update after a couple of weeks but overall the functionality of this camera and app are brill I had a ring before and it was always dying or messing up I would definitely buy this camera over RING anyday! I update once I've had it a while but I will be buying again for myself and family :)

I understood it to be wireless and not what I expected

Its physically solid and robust, and provides a good clear picture. It is however very basic in that; You cannot easily get it to store recordings locally (like many others I am unable to work out where the micro-SD card allegedly fits). It only records 10 seconds - you have to take an annual subscription to get more It will not do continuous loop recordings The motion detection is rubbish. There is no 'detect people' option and all it does is look for changes in the picture, so every morning as the sun comes up and the lights comes under or around a door, it triggers and say theres an alert. Anything can trigger it - including cobwebs and turning down the sensitivity makes no difference. Other brands are far superior in all respects. Its a pity as its a robust, physically solid product which I have used for years but eventually got tired of being awoken every night by false triggers. Instead I went and looked through Amazon and bought a different make which is far superior for only a few quid more, takes a 64Gb memory card, does continuous looped recordings, has a 'detect person' mode and never has false triggers. The software is pretty basic and the lack of functionality is evident as there are no options to do the things that a decent modern camera should do these days. Wouldnt buy again as its simply too basic, poor in functionality and unreliable as an alarm device.
