I Thought I’d Use It Once and Forget It… I Was Wrong.
Let me start by saying I didn’t expect to love this thing. I figured I’d use it once to deep clean my grout, maybe steam a few spots in the bathroom, and then it’d collect dust in a closet like every other “as-seen-on-TV” type gadget. I was way off. This little steam cleaner has become one of my favorite cleaning tools and I say that as someone who actually enjoys a good weekend deep clean.First off, it heats up FAST. I’m talking under a minute, and you’re ready to blast. The attachments 10 in total actually feel useful and not like random plastic filler. I’ve used the grout brush on my bathroom floor (the lines went from greyish to the original white I forgot existed), the window squeegee on my glass shower doors, and even the fabric steamer on our couch cushions. It handled them all without a hiccup. The angled nozzle and extension hose are clutch. I was able to reach under the toilet rim and behind sink pipes without doing yoga poses. Steam pressure stays strong throughout a full tank, and refilling is quick and mess-free.What surprised me most was using it in the kitchen especially for gunked-up stovetop crevices and around the base of the faucet. I even hit the dishwasher door edges, which had built-up grime I didn’t realize was there. Nothing gross survives a blast from this thing. If you’re debating whether to buy this, here’s what helped me:- It’s portable but powerful- It actually feels like it was designed by someone who cleans- The steam is chemical-free and super satisfying to watch in action- I’ve already used it in 4 different rooms- It’s under $100—worth it for what it replacesI’ve recommended this to two friends and even got my husband using it on his car mats and tires. If you like instant gratification from cleaning, this little machine will scratch that itch.

Effective, but read the instructions
There are many review videos which give instructions which do not match the user manual, like it says do not use on certain surfaces like food contact areas or fabric or painted areas. In the bathroom I used a hydrogen peroxide mix with the steam shot in my shower and it did a pretty good job of lifting dirt from the grout and tile. Nice to use on and around the toilet where dirt can get caught at the base. Is it worth the time it takes to heat up and refill? Maybe, depends on whether you live in a humid area where you don't want mold. If you regularly clean thoroughly you probably don't need it. The videos which tout how much fun it is to use are clickbait. The unit produces steam so you'll be sweating while you use it and it takes extra time to heat and refill. In the kitchen I found it useful for steam cleaning the microwave, disposal, faucet, trash bin, but not necessarily every week, more like when you feel you need a deeper clean, especially on surfaces which can get sticky. I got it on a Prime Day sale and for that price it's a useful tool to have in my cleaning kit so I can do lighter cleaning weeks and then use this for thorough cleaning every 3rd week or so.

If Cinderella had one of these, she’d have been out of that kitchen in five minutes.
If Cinderella had one of these, she’d have been out of that kitchen in five minutes. The Bissell Steam Shot is like a tiny, determined dragon that breathes hot steam instead of fire—perfect for blasting grime off tiles, faucets, and those mysterious sticky spots you find on kitchen counters. What I Loved:• Powerful steam burst that makes soap scum surrender instantly.• No chemicals—just water and pure cleaning vengeance.• Lightweight, easy to maneuver, and surprisingly fun to use.Why Not 5 Stars?• The water tank is… petite. I spend more time refilling it than feeling like a steam-wielding superhero.• The cord could be longer—I do a lot of awkward outlet-hopping.Verdict:4 sparkling stars! 🌟🌟🌟🌟 If you want something portable, effective, and oddly satisfying for quick clean-ups, this little steamer is your new sidekick. Just be prepared for a few extra trips to the sink.

Good, but keep looking
The steamer works perfectly and definitely tingles some OCD habits in me. As great as it is, it’s really only for tiny projects. The cons:1. It’s really designed for small projects. I had to reload the water 3 times for an area that was 2’x6’.2. The button to release steam is very hard to press down. I found myself using both hands to hold the button down, spray the stream and then relocate my hands to use the scrubbing features. A day later and my hands are still sore/shaky.3. The cord isn’t terribly long. But, I think it’s because the device is not for larger projects. It reached the areas I needed it to, but no way could it reach across a room or even up a shower wall. It’s about the length of an iron. The pros:1. It with amazing accessories that I didn’t know I needed including a cup to refill the water and scrubbing tools. As a tip, the scrubbers are very hard, but did NOT scratch porcelain tile.2. Compact and fast. If you have a few tiles, a dirty sink or dirty toilet area, you would be able to fill, heat up and clean in less than 15 minutes.Would I buy this item again? No. I’d purchase something much larger. Does it work amazingly? Absolutely.

Just buy it
Great machine! I used it to clean my VERY moldy shower. I’ve been wanting to clean it for a very long time and throwing product and bleach on it was not working. I’ve been afraid of getting too close to the mold and it getting on me. I live in a rental and the shower is very old. Many small tiles on the floor and walls. Lots of crevices for mold to build up. I bought this as a last resort and the amount of mold it cleaned away was intense! I feel so clean in my shower now! I wish it held more water per use, but then again, I was doing a deep clean in the grouts. Awesome machine!
