We use a little buddy heater to supplement the heat in our 5th wheel on chilly days. We were using a piece of wire to secure the fan to the heater (not ideal) watching a recent you tube video we saw a shelf on a heater like ours. Didn't know anything like this was available. Found this one here on Amazon and decided to order it. The notches line up for a perfect fit and the included hardware hold the fan secure. So happy we found this. Would definitely recommend, especially over our pervious wire hack.

Unfortunately, this shelf is not compatible with the Mr. Heater Little Buddy (round element and radiator) unit, which is what I have. I did, however, gift the shelf to a camping buddy who has the correct, intended device, and he was amazed at how much more efficient heating his enclosed (three walls) canopy has become with the shelf and a small thermoelectric fan (but, be sure to let it cool completely before you touch it!!!). Five stars, since I wasn’t paying attention and ordered the wrong thing but it all worked out well in the end.

Good fit

Perfect!! Our Buddy heater is often used when camping and we have one of these fans for it. We had to actually do a little trimming in order to get it to fit and operate properly. THIS is a much better way of doing the same thing without having to modify the fan in any way. Plus, it positions the fan in a much more desirable position. The hardware holds the fan tightly to the base. So many different fans can be fitted too.In operation it sits securely on the heater's grille and at a level position.The heat needed to operate the fan can reach the base due to the slots milled into the base. SOme of these bases do not have these so helpful slots.Comes with the base, which is very well made, and the mounting hardware. The hardware is made up of 4 washers and 2 studded wing screws and 2 wing nuts. No tools are needed to install. We are very pleased with this one...

Due to the layout of Buddy Heaters (both small and the big version), putting a stove fan above the heater will not work as there is an angle across the top. This is a useful plate / tray to buy so that you can then put the conventional fan stove over it. Works very well, cheap and stable (screwed on). Very surprised how this little plate works and far cheaper than buying the specialised Buddy heater fan stove.
