Matrix BlackOps Watch, Body Heat Powered Fitness Tracker Smart Watch, 50M Dive, Calorie and Step Count, iPhone/Samsung Compatible

I heard about this watch a year ago and was intrigued. I'm in the Marine Corps, SEMPER FI!, and thought it looked cool. The company's claim is that you don't have to charge it which is great and all but I just think it looks really good. My girlfriend had given me another "smartwatch" but I hated it. Tossed it out after a few weeks. Battery needed to be charged daily and it just looked really lame. I want something that looks like a real watch with the added features of a smartwatch. There are some other brands out there that I thought might work but when I tried them on, they just seem too generic. The Black Ops watch, though, just blings out. It's unique. When I show it to my compadres, they stop and stare. The company making them though was crowdfunding it and I didn't want to take a risk until I saw how things played out. I felt ready to buy it when I saw it here on Amazon and other article reviews have been decent. I've been testing it now for a week and all seems well. Activity tracking and calorie count work well which is nice when my platoon is out for a run of course. Ultimately though the watch just looks awesome. Anyone who sees it wants to know more about it.The watch has this really cool feature that show bars around the dial and lets you know how much power you're generating. Since I run hot, my bars are basically maxed out. On a run it's just super cool to see the bars increase. It's pretty sweet that I can be out for several days on a training mission and not worry about charging. Auto sleep tracking is another great feature and would come in handy for the noobs during the Crucible (haha). To top it all off the watch is water resistant, they claim to 50 meters although I've never tested at that depth.The one downside I will say is the app which is super generic. But who cares ultimately. I'm wearing a watch that is powered by my own body heat which is insane if you think about it. The fact that it also just looks bad a** and doesn't embarrass me when I wear it like the other generic "smartwatches" out there is why I ultimately got it. Works well, durable, and overall cool is why I'm giving this watch a 5 star review.

I have had this for about 4 hours. The watch itself and accessories are great. IF it worked it would be good but....1- app is super buggy esp the Bluetooth connection.2- watch went from thinking it is 87 degrees to 32 and don’t change for an hour. It is 71 in my house.3- sleep mode worked for 1 minute and will not go back into sleep mode4-burned up 40% of power in 10 mins5-backlight is terribleIf you are considering.... wait a while for a new version. Mine is going back

I've had this watch for about two months now and I've never had issues with the battery dying despite the hot Carolina summers.The only issue I've encountered is that the magnet on the metal wristband is corroding away. The metal plate came off and I'm going to contact them to see if they will replace it. Maybe I can seal the magnet with something to prevent moisture from getting in.The app could also use some help; does not sync seamlessly like the Fitbit app. I've had to manually get the watch to connect to my phone every time I want to upload my activity.

This watch is awesome! The very first real gift I ever bought my husband was a watch, now long defunct, and I have been thinking about getting him a new one for a long time now. When I came across this one that doesn't need a battery and just runs on body heat, I finally pulled the trigger and got it and I am so glad I did. I have never even heard of a watch that doesn't need a battery to this point. It is such a cool concept, and it's very empowering to know that YOU generate the power for the watch--it even tells you how much power!The watch is really beautiful, too. It is somewhat large profile, so it looks a little large on my tiny wrists, but it is really sporty and sleek and I love that it is all black. It has a really nice slinky band with a magnetic closure that is easily adjustable. The watch also comes with an extra band that is a little more traditional and might be better for use during exercise. So far my husband has stuck with the magnetic band.The watch is also pretty easy to use and to pair with the app. The app is pretty bare bones, but it works well enough and doesn't really take away from the watch itself.

This is a fitness watch whose main attribute is that it never needs charging since it uses one's body heat to charge the watch. First the positives. It has an easily read face, a really nice watch band, and sets up easily. Also, you can choose between other watch faces (but not a traditional watch "hands") and once synched to an iPhone, shows one's progress against user programmed goals. On the down side, it would be nice to have additional watch faces. Also, the user interface using the watch buttons is not intuitive. It would be nice to have a screen which showed the watch's battery condition. Finally, there is a flaw in the watch screen which shows the temperature difference between the user's skin and the case. Most of the time, it shows 32F for both. I brought this flaw to powerWatch's attention and they said they were aware and it would be corrected on the next firmware update. They did not give a timeframe for the update.

At First I was so impressed with the technology, but then slowly the forth digit number has a line, so if it turn to number one, and any other number its has a line ... but I tolerate that.Then 3 days ago, it went totally blank, as shown in the picture.I thought maybe I didn't move around much so I kept wearing it, hoping the power is back on.... no luck still off

The watch is kind of a gimmick, and the display looks nothing like the picture. The display is extremely difficult to see (not lighted well) and the back light is essentially a 1980's Timex corner light (if you remember those). It was not extremely user friendly, and ultimately I sent it back. I would not recommend. Way too expensive for what you get. Many better, higher quality options at that price point.

I love well engineered things, and this takes the cake! It never needs charging!

Es más un fondo gris con display en ámbar. Muy difícil de ver, sobre todo en espacios cerrados, aún de día.-No tiene posibilidad de cambiar de carátula digital a analógica.-La iluminación nocturna de la carátula es paupérrima.-La app es difícil de sincronizar con el reloj y es muy limitada en cuanto a funcionalidad.

Devo modificare il mio parere espresso ad Aprile...E' la seconda volta che succede....all'improvviso lo smartwatch si spegne completamente e per farlo ripartire devo usare il suo caricatore termico.La prima volta ho dato la colpa dello spegnimento alla permanenza in connessione con il telefono via bluetooth.La seconda non ha motivo avendo spento la funzione sul telefono !Ora il problema potrebbe essere che usando una tastiera bluetooth connessa al PC ...lo smartwatch di suo....cerchi di connettersi continuamente non con il telefono... ma con il PC !Così non va bene....attendo una risposta dall'assistenza....ma sono intenzionato a renderlo mio malgrado.

Le faltaria un poco de LUZ adicional para la lectura nocturnaHasta ahora ha funcionado bastante bien , pero lleva unas semanas que no carga cuando está puesto o no lo suficiente y al cabo de unos días se desconecta . Tampoco sincroniza los datos de calorías . Un fiasco !!! Y eso que es bonito . No lo recomiendo

lo mejor es la bateria, me encanta
