Defective product; Defective design: The connections on the side supposed to be flat are sticking above the surface as a result when attaching to other ring or camera, there is a cogwheel like effect and not smooth as it should be. likely to damage camera connections after a few uses. plus the risk of metal shavings falling into camera chamber can cause damage to the sensor as well as other moving parts. Do not buy. Will discard. Not worth the trouble of returning, paying with time and shipping.

These do not work on some Olympus cameras. I tried them on E-M1X, E-M1 mk II, E-M1 mk III, and E-M5 mk III and all I got was a black screen. However, they did work on an Olympus E-PL6 and E-PM2, as well as a Panasonic GH4 and GH5. Yes, I have all of these cameras. And I have Pixco and Kenko tubes that work on all of them.

Panasonic's Micro-4/3 42.5mm f1.7 is egg-sized, famously sharp, weighs only 4.6oz = 115g, and autofocuses to about a foot = 30cm, about 0.4x life-size., which was nice, but for this pussy willow bud, I wanted to get closer, almost life-size. This set's 16mm extension tube between camera and lens quickly did the job. It connects the lens and camera electronics, preserving automated focusing, exposure, and lens & body integration of image stabilization, a major Panasonic advantage. I like tubes better than closeup lenses, which degrade the image optically as well as via added dirt and reflections from two or more additional surfaces and can shatter when dropped.

The tubes were not secure on the camera or lens and could not hold a stable connection to use the camera. Although attached, the camera would often loose electric connection with the lens. This would either happen during use, or not connect at all. Pulling apart and reconnecting would sometimes work, but not always.
