PAETA Pilates Reformer, 91" Foldable Reformer Pilates Machine with Adjustable Reformer Heights, Pilates Equipment with Piano Wire Spings and Jump Boards

Not totally quite a full 4/5 stars but I rounded up rather than down because overall it’s a good looking, sturdy machine, with a decent price point.Assembly: Mines came with instructions and was fairly easy to assemble. It folds up nicely with Velcro straps to secure it. If you are planning on using the stand, it can get tricky because the machine itself is not light. The stand is 7 parts that you put together before laying the reformer on top of. I’ve placed the reformer on top of the stand by myself but no don’t recommend it. It’s a 2 person job. With the stand, I find it at a good height. Bags are provided for storing the parts for the stand when it’s not in use, but the bag they gave for the long sides only fits 3/4 metal sticks… The risers on the back are on the basic/cheaper end, I need to check them before each use to ensure they are tighten properly. It flew off once while I was using it, but I think it could also be that I hadn’t ensure it was tight enough. I like that there are front and back platforms and am open to purchasing extenders for them if there was an option for it.Use: I have used this machine for 2 months before reviewing. Yes some of the springs can get loud but occasionally after I adjust them, the sound corrects themselves. At the beginning, the machine was super smooth, but more recently it started making a scraping sound when I use the carriage (like nails on a chalkboard) not pleasant and it is driving me insane. The sound comes and goes but it is very annoying. Both my husband and I have spent way too much time searching for the issue but can’t seem to fix it. I will probably reach out to the manufacturer at some point.I am personally happy I bought this reformer. I like the look and feel of it. With the prices that the studios in my area charges, I feel like I’ll get my monies worth from the machine purchase within a few months. As someone who went to class 6 days a week/2 times a day before kids, I like that I now have the flexibility of jumping on whatever I want, in the comfort of my own home. It sucks that I have to create my own lesson plans, but the internet and social media is full of inspiration. The kids love their mommy and me Pilates time, but being able to fold it up to safely store it away from those little hands is a huge plus. It doesn’t have all the bells and whistles of a fancy expensive reformer, but at its core, it has everything I need to get in a good workout. I just hope to figure out the kinks.Update: their support team is 10/10 amazing. Quick reply and solution. So they get an additional star.

Decent enough machine with most functionality you would expect. Not the most 100% awe-inspiring quality of all time, but the price is decent. Definitely some pings and snaps as you put the thing through its paces, but it feels solid and glides smoothly. Not amazingly portable or mobile; it has a frame you have to set it up on to keep it off the ground which does not actually attach to it or fold with it, so you can fold the main part of the machine but the frame you have to disassemble and move separately. Again, compared to $3,000 this machine is 85% effective for the price.
