Blue Rhino Endless Summer Outdoor 30,000 BTU Propane Gas Fire Pit (for Parts)

It’s pretty but I have always had trouble with it staying lit. I have had it 4 years now and it still looks great but I don’t use it much because it takes 20+ minutes of tinkering to keep it lit. It’s very frustrating.

We have had this for about 2 months now. Previous reviews were very helpful, especially comments about lighting and keeping it lit. If you follow the instructions, particularly about holding the igniting knob pressed in for the required time, it stays lit and operates as expected.This table only took about 20 minutes to assemble. We were using it within 30 minutes of opening the box.I haven’t determined how long a full propane tank lasts, but our initial impression is the tank provides more “time by the fire” than the amount of wood that could be purchased for around the same $$ as a tank refill.We like the quick start & use, and the ability to shut it off when done without the added time of tending to, or watching the final embers burn out. It’s also nice to not deal with smoke in your face/eyes as the wind shifts.We are definitely happy we got one with glass as opposed to lava rock surrounding the burner.

We bought the black model with the the glass rocks. It wasn’t too hard to put together. Altogether it probably took an hour. It comes with extra screws so if one doesn’t work go to the next.We like the look of this model rather than the others. It’s a little more sophisticated and goes with our patio furniture. The only thing that the black model didn’t come with was the center piece metal cover as shown in the other wicker model. It did come with a fitted tarp cover to protect it from the rain. Unlike some of the other reviews the ignition switch works fine. I didn’t give it five stars because I would have liked the metal center piece cover so we could use the fire pit as a coffee table when not in use. But it wasn’t designed to have one. One thing I like is you can call BlueRhino for replacement parts if you should need them on their 800 number.

It came well packaged, but the written assembly instructions were useless. If there weren't any photos, it would have been a much more difficult task to assemble. I consider myself mechanically inclined, I used to rebuild V-8 engines as a hobby & I repair most of my own home appliances, but this was a bit of a task. The most of it was pretty simple except for figuring out which legs were to be mounted where the swinging door is located. Note to all others, be sure to determine this prior to any other assembly, and be sure not to fully tighten any of the wall bolts until 90% together. The side panels have slotted bolt holes so as to be able to square it up as you are putting it together.I checked all of the gas fittings, but they were fine. It fired up without any problems and looks pretty nice.Although I will restate that it's not worth what I paid.

One leg dented. Very difficult instructions, it would be helpful to mark coordinating items with letters. Example: A into B etc.The tank placement is not easy to place. If the door placement is on the opposite side it may be an easier installation. The quality of the product is so-so for the price. Also, does not have a top cover .

This item has been exactly what we wanted for our back porch! Low setting doesn't put off much heat, which is great in the warmer weather months, but I am most excited to use it in the Fall on those cooler nights.Lighting it does seem a little troublesome sometimes, but once you get the hang of it, it gets easier. I think it's actually kind of nice that it doesn't light right away so it's more of a safety feature with kiddos around sometimes.

I would say this was exactly what I expected, very cute, however heat does not radiate far from the base so just be aware of that when you purchase. You have to sit really close to actually feel the heat from the pit.

I was hesitant about this purchase at first because it was really affordable, but I was really impressed. It is beautiful, easy to put together (by myself!) and started on the first try! I highly recommend!
