I used the 6 inch ones for my new gate. I installed them myself and I'm a 46 year old woman so pretty easy I'd say. Hopefully they last.

These match the old hinges that were on a cupboard that my husband repainted. He built a companion cupboard, both of which are in our newly painted basement. Go Retro!!!!

Normally hinges come in two units. I thought that I was getting a good deal aslocally, they were a few dollars more to buy. I was quite surprised when I only receive onlyone hinge. However, when reading about this unit, I realized that it was for only one hinge.Mea culpa. As I said, buyer beware at anything you buy on line.

Very good hinges,only when i orderd,i didn`t realize they come one per package,so guess what,you can`t hang a gate with only 1 hinge,so re-ordered a second hinge and it took over 3 weeks to get the hinge.The first one i ordered took less than 1 week.NOT IMPRESSED,had to wait 1 mth to hang my gate.The hinges work great and it all looks excellent though.

These hinges worked excellent. They were just as described and are a good solid hinge. I used these on an outdoor kitchen at our lake place.
