The right mix of quality, price, and convenience
My class C has 10 T5 flourescent fixtures with two tubes each. I replaced the flourescent tubes with one of these four cluster LED replacements from Cabin Bright in each fixture. They are a little brighter and help save battery power when we dry camp. They are also cooler so they don't heat up the RV. I love this version as it has BOTH a white and a yellow mixture of LED lights. I find that to be a nice compromise and is very hard to find. Usually you have to decide if you want a warmer LED or a colder white. This solves that problem.Installation is very easy if you have ever changed a light fixture or put up a ceiling fan. If you have no clue how to do these things then bring a friend who can show you how to do the first one and take some pictures and you will be able to do the rest easily. That is what I did because I still wasn't sure I could do it after watching the instruction video on the web page. Speaking of Cabin Bright, the inventor/Owner Joe is a really nice guy. I called to ask a few questions and he was awesome. He is the kind of guy you end up having a few beers with when he is parked next to you at th RV park. Easy going and helpful.Another option for LED replacement is his (Joe) new light he calles the X Factor. That might be a better option for many looking to replace their old lights with a high quality LED light. He also has slightly better prices and free shipping on his web page. Also keep in mind that you could buy a whole new fixture that comes with LED lights in it already but this is an option that requires more research and finding the fixture that will work specifically in your RV and meets your specific requirements. I chose to just replace the lighting part and keep the fixture as it fits perfectly already.Looking back on this project I can now say this was not rocket science so to speak. Sure, you could probably put together your own LED strips or clusters and make your own stuff to install for less money but these guys have done all the research, found the best quality, put it all together ready to install and provide this service at a reasonable price. Time is money. Unless you are REALLY secure with your electrician abilities or have a ton of time on your hands then just get these instead of waisting time researching, building, and trying out several products that may or may not work. Cabin Bright has already done the work for you. Good luck!

12" replacement works great in an 18" fixture! Very sterile at claimed 4100K, so I "warmed" them up.
A great and easy solution for a fluorescent replacement since it's so simple to wire and handles voltages typical for an off-grid 12V system. Extremely bright: when I saw the ratings, I installed this shorter 12" version in my 18" fixtures, and it's way brighter than the bulbs I replaced. I wouldn't want them any brighter! Before this, I converted all other lighting in my camper to LED except the the fluorescent fixtures. However, I prefer warm lighting and these LEDs' 4100K (only option) color temperature was far too cool for my liking at night. So I added a layer of inexpensive photography 1/4 CTO film in front of the LEDs to bring the color temperature down to a preferable 3500ishK like the rest of my lighting. When I had fluorescent bulbs, I rarely used them because of the flickery cool light, poor cold weather performance, and comparatively higher power consumption. Now I enjoy using overhead lights!

Great Customer Service!
I have ordered 6 of these LED conversion kits to convert 12" florescent light fixtures in our 18 year old fifth-wheel travel trailer. As light fixtures go out the cost of replacing the light is over twice the cost of just converting them to LED. Very satisfied with the results. Joe at Cabin Bright gives excellent customer service if you have any questions about installation. Kits comes with good instructions. Turns out the lights are cooler than the florescent ones.

5 Stars!
An amazing product - at an amazing price. I'm replacing all the 12V incandescent lamps in my camper with leds. And with the price of leds now getting way down there, you should be replacing your lamps too. I have one 12V 12" dual tube fluorescent fixture in the camper. This mod kit was easy to install and everything you need is in the package - including excellent instructions. I had mine installed inside of 10 minutes. And it's kind of a judgement call, but I would say that this led light is brighter than the fluorescent lamps it replaced.A couple of suggestions, make sure to use the alcohol pad (included!) to clean the mounting surface before sticking on the led pads. Also, you will need an electricians crimping tool to crimp the (included!) terminal that slides onto the power switch in your fluorescent fixture to the positive power lead.

a bad battery plus a bad fuse had led me to ...
I got these and at first thought they were defective. Called Joe (the company owner) and he was gracious and helpful, offering to send me a replacement ASAP. While I was waiting for the replacement, I tried the originals again--long story short, a bad battery plus a bad fuse had led me to think the LEDs were bad, but they worked perfectly once I got a new battery and fuse in place.Joe's products are top-notch and his service is even better. HIGHLY recommend these--they are super easy to installl and work perfectly (as long as your wiring is straightened out to begin with)! Thanks, Joe.

Great product, would recommend
Replaced the old flourescent tube light fixtures in my boat with these bad boys amd wow am I glad I did! Thr light they emit is warm, not sharp like most led lights, which is perfect for ceiling fixtures. These lights use far less electricity than the old ones I used to have. Installation was simple, crimp two wires, stick lights to fixture, enjoy. My only complaint is that the wires between the lights coukd be longer, they are almost too short for the fixtures. Otherwise, highly recommended!

Useful for a wide array of applications besides just the fixtures as intended.
I used this for a slightly different purpose that was intended. I replaced the oven range hood lamp with this. I had to fab a sheet metal bracket for the lamps to mount onto. I recessed it up into the compartment where the old incandescent lamp lived and wired it in. Then used the same compartment face cover to keep grease and excess heat from bothering these. Works great, far more light and uses about 1/2 the electricity of the old 12 watt lamp.
