Good
Pros- Great for camping. Self inflates with bag of air (please watch a video on how to fill up quickly). Can adjust how much air for firmness, pretty comfy, good quality, good length.Con- toddlers think it’s a trampoline, hard to sleep next to someone as they are meant for one person, even with a second next to them. Does slide a bit on the bottom of a tent.

Best camping sleep for the money.
The only thing I dislike about this, is that it didn't exist sooner. 😂 Easily the best camping air mattress I've ever used. It felt like sleeping in my own bed, because of the foam, it's great. I slept well, all night, on the ground, in the woods. No tossing and turning, and I felt rested in the morning. It's not loud or makes weird noises when you move around on it, and it feels soft to the touch instead of plastic or something. It will basically self inflate, but the bag it's stored in can be used as a pump, which is neat, but I bought the tiny pump for it. Inflates in under 10 minutes I think. It's a bit bulky, not for backpacking but if your worried about your back and want to camp, use this mattress, my 75yo dad approves. 👍 It seems well built and can support my fat butt so I recon it will yours too, and be comfy. 🥰

Super comfortable.
This is seriously the most comfortable camping bed I have ever used. Worth every penny. You'll think you were sleeping on a thick mattress. I may struggle putting it back in the bag but I don't care. Highly recommend.

Comfortable night of sleep!
I ordered this item for a camping trip. Even though the reviews were primarily positive, I was skeptical buying an inflatable mattress, as I struggle with lingering back pain. I was shocked at how comfortably I slept on this mattress. The price was worth the pain-free mornings! I definitely recommend this product.

“IN” valve is not one-way, as stated in instructions
*** Update - ThermaRest got back to me and sent two replacements. The valves on the new pads work properly. The INFLATION section of the TwinLock Valve Instructions states that “The one-way IN valve will prevent air from escaping”. This is not true. While inflating with the pump sack, when you get above approximately 50 % inflation, every time you pump air in, you can hear it come right back out after you stop pumping. This makes it very difficult to fully inflate. Also, if you put light pressure on the pad with your hand, you can hear the air coming out. I have two pads that I bought at the same time and both have the same issue.I emailed ThermaRest 9 days ago with this issue to see what they’d say, but I still haven’t heard back from them.

air leak after 3 times use and no support from company
I bought two Therm-a-Rest MondoKing 3D Self-Inflating Camping Sleeping Pad from Amazon.com on 6/25/2023. My wife and I have used them only for 3 times. It turned out that one sleeping pad is slowly leaking air. At night, before I was using it, I pumped air until it was a kind of firm and supportive. However, in the next day morning, the pad became not firm at all, and I can even touch from the top surface to the bottom without much force.I submitted my first request for replacement of the pad (it is still under warranty) at the company's web site on 12/23/2024 and there has never been replied by the company customer support personnel except the automatic reply. Then I submitted another same warranty request on 1/9/2025. Up to now, no reply at all. What a worst experience with this product and the company warranty supports.

Too heavy for backpacking but everyone else who enjoys camping will love it
I've got a Thermarest backpacking pad that's nearing 30 years old and still as good as new (given the fact that self-inflating still requires some manual work), so when it came time to look for a camp sleeping pad it was naturally the brand I went with.As a side sleeper I went with the XXL (odd sizing, since there is no L or XL!), which is wider. It also fits perfectly on my cot. Instructions are accurate - self-inflation is good to a point, then the sack comes in handy to complete the job. One quick note here - plugging sack into the "In" port may be challenging. As with most air mattresses, there is some settling, but I found that after one top up of air it remained the same level of comfort for several days - you don't have to re-adjust air and comfort level every night. It's not so bad, but if you're a squirmer there will be noise.Deflating - this isn't quite as friendly, and why "Easy to inflate" lost a star (a deflate rating would have had 1 star). It is indicated that the "In" and "Out" ports efficiently block air going in the other direction. I'm not sure this is true. In locking down the "In" port so that no air enters and opening the "Out" to roll up for storage, every time I took weight off the deflating pad it would fill again through the Out port. It is a big challenge to get this pad back to a size that will fit back in its storage bag and that's why I returned it - in a different box because I never did get it small enough to fit back into its original. I can take down and pack my tent more quickly than I can pack this bag away. Sorry Therm-a-Rest, almost perfect.
