This is by far the best landscape weed barrier I have found to date. Have had to dig up and replace others 3 times over the last 12 years but I can guarantee that this one will last as long as I do! Don't forget to order the long heavy duty staples to anchor it down, they do a great job.

So demoralized.About four weeks ago, I bought 6 x 100 feet, dug up 5 yards of soil in raised beds, and laid down the fabric to get control of the Bermuda grass that has invaded my raised beds over the last 8 years. Mid-project (moving the soil, laying fabric, then SIFTING the soil through a homemade sieve of 1/4” hardware cloth to remove any rhizomes, stolons or pieces of Bermuda grass) and today, three weeks in (I’m old and slow), I find a Bermuda grass stolon has pushed through this fabric that was covered in 3 inches of soil. I’m a Master Gardener with over thirty years of gardening experience and consulted several friends advice before commencing with this project. I spent a lot of money that I could barely afford given the current Covid-19 pandemic and underemployment on this stuff, worked harder on this garden project than I have since I built the beds 8 years ago, and it’s all for nothing.There are not enough words in English to describe the depth of my disappointment in what was supposed to be a commercial-grade geotextile. Cannot hold back Bermuda grass for even three weeks in May covered with 3” of soil. This didn’t happen in a seam or a staple hole. I can only pray that the areas that are under 12” to 18” of soil will not succumb as quickly.

we have lots of crows and squirrel following behind them to pick up and plant acorns this is a very \strong fabric

I bought this specifically because the product is supposed to allow water to permeate it. Woke up this morning to standing water on it from rain. It never soaked in, it just evaporated throughout the day. So if you thinking of buying this because of the claims of water transference, find another product.
