Having, at date, walked over 300 miles with the TrailBuddy poles, in all sort of terrain and conditions; I can state that they are the best poles I ever had, while having used poles for more than 25 years.Excellent design, totally covering all the trekking needs,Very good quality of construction.What I like particularly:> fairly flushed surface of the fliplocks that is no catch of vegetation when off trail and so avoiding unexpected unlocking….> screws made of alloyed metal, resistant to oxidation and sunlight (UV) to ensure a long life of use ( have had previously carbon poles fitted with plastic screws that split after exposure to UV and with metal bolts corroding…)> comfortable and practical cork handles, even when wet from rain or perspiration,> very easy height adjustments,> fine, clear and useful instructions,> also, less important, albeit still good to know: fine quality of the coating / lacquer, only a few scratches after all the use off the beaten track, while coating of previous poles more or less disappeared soon after some extensive use.Only perhaps slightly negative point in comparison to carbon poles is the weight, but the difference is negligible, one get use to it quickly, and when walking for exercise adding a very small amount of weight is not relevant.What’s more, these aluminium poles are much more resistant that the carbon ones to reasonableflexion, when trapped in an obstacle in the ground, carbon poles just snap.Overall, 100% satisfied, TrailBuddy poles highly recommended

The poles are good quality feel robust. I think they will last a long time. I use these rather than a walking stick. They allow me to stand up straight and not lean over as in using stick. So keep my back straighter. I can also walk faster which helps with my overall fitness. As an older user, I would say give them a try. They are fully adjustable and the hand straps make them very secure. I don't feel as if I would trip up or fall. Safety in walking with these is good. I saw my orthopaedic consultant and mentioned that I was using the poles to help with my spine and knee problems, he said that they we a really good idea and a number of his patients had benefitted from the use of poles. (No particular make of course) From my perspective I can walk further and faster and breath easier, which surely must be of health benefit. I am no expert! I would say to anyone with similar health issues to give them a try. I don't think you will be disappointed.

I am recovering from a spinal injury and a doctor suggested getting walking poles to aid my recovery. I didn't want to buy really expensive ones, in case I didn't get on with them, and I'm hoping not to use them for too long anyway. The poles are nice and sturdy, very easy to adjust and fold down, and come with a very handy carry bag, so if you aren't using them e.g. while sitting on a train, they don't take up too much room.The only downside I have found is that, when walking on pavements (which I do mostly) they are very noisy... tap tap tap tap tap tap. I feel like people can hear me coming from miles around. There are rubber tips on the end of the poles but they don't seem to make much difference.That said, they have helped me a lot with my walking, taking some of the weight off my back and helping me get moving.

These trail buddy walking poles are excellent, the photo's don't do these poles justice as they truly look and feel high quality.They are very simple to customize to your own walking posture or you can set them to the length via the sizing chart which is enclosed.You receive all the accessories you need with these sticks for any walk you have planned.These poles are light weight and easily collapsible (shorten) to put in your back back until they are needed. The price of these were perfect with a high price feel and quality finish to them.I'm very happy with this purchase and would recommend this product and seller.

I am new to walking and have just agreed to do a charity 3 peaks challenge.These poles are light, comfortable and really easy to adjust whilst walking.I have just been up snowdon with them and done 5 other multiple terrain walks & can recommend these.Highly recommended. Just arrived and practiced around the house to get used to them. Easy to assemble and the graduation marks on the shafts make sure you get the right height for you. The handles are comfortable to hold and the wrist straps can be adjusted to suit. I’m waiting for a hip replacement and these poles will help me to walk upright and give me support, they are sturdy. Comes with a storage bag and supplied with different ends for muddy conditions and snow. Really pleased with them, I feel sure they will help and enable me to get out and walk with more confidence, plus much more ‘fashionable’ than the usual walking sticks!

Not thought about these to be honest, then I broke 2 metatarsal walking last month. Im using these to replace the crutches now the bones are healing. Very sturdy, nice and light, easy to set the length. You tube video of this brand explain all you need to know. Very happy with them, plus the come with different end caps and spare cups.

Great product and great price. We have now used these hiking poles numerous times and love them. They collapse down well and fits back into their bag easily. They are quickly and easily adjustable while on the hike (lengthen for down hill, shorten for uphill). They come with different tips for different elements (snow, mud, etc) But we have not needed to make any adjustments to the tips yet. Highly recommend. It does include TWO poles per purchase, which was a concern of mine when purchasing. Some products are only for 1 pole.

I just received these today, and had to try them out. They appear to be quality build and feel very solid. Clips to adjust height are tight and secure. In addition to the quick tab to secure, they also have screw to tighten. The tab will be easy to use with gloves, but the screw will need to be done by hand. That’s okay as it’s usually the tab you’d use on the trail. I’m a big guy. I was concerned the pokes may not be sturdy enough or long enough for my 6 ft 4 in height. On the trial today, the poles appear long enough for both up and downhill. I reach out the poles further in front when I hike downhill. And they feel sturdy even for my weight. The real test will come on the trail next week. I found the grips a little small as I have very big hands. But for most people the grips will be good size. My wife said they’re fine for her hands. The cork is nice on the hands and will likely absorb some of the vibration on firmer ground, and the perspiration. The wrist straps are comfortable. The poles are nice and lightweight. Hopefully I will feel the same when I’ve been hiking with them all day.After trying these out on hikes, I found they performed well. They are sturdy and provided good balance. I do have to tighten the screws adjustments prior to each hike. However, this is a 2 second easy process. I store after hikes with clips loosened. Cork is a little rough, but expect it will soften over time. I don’t use gloves. So far so good.
