Hard to argue with the value here, we ordered another a few weeks later
This is a case where a product really doesn't do itself justice in its title. These are a great value compared to a lot of jerky sticks packs. At first glance it doesn't seem like anything special but it's 5 different packs of flavors with 8 sticks of each flavor. In this day and age, that's a LOT of jerky stick. Compare that to premium jerky that tries to sell you a 2-3 oz bag for $15 and you get an even better sense of how much you're getting by comparison here.On top of that, most of these flavors are really good, with the Taco flavor easily being our top choice. They're all really tasty though. If you're REALLY sensitive to spiciness the Extra Hot flavor might be a wash (but it's really not THAT spicy it's just spicy compared to the rest).***Overall Value***For $40 (at the time of review) these are a great value at $1 per stick, and we enjoyed them enough and appreciated having so many flavors to choose from that we picked up a second pack a few weeks later.

Mold
I think be sure of the clean ingredients and no preservatives, couple of the sticks had mold on them!!! Good for no preservatives, bad for mold. Maybe need to reassess expiration dates

Tastes like Chili.
I know these say 'Street Taco' but everything I have had, (popcorn, etc.), that says 'Street Taco' has tasted different. These, in my opinion, taste Just Like Chili! That's the flavor they should call them. They are pretty good Chili meat sticks. In their video they aren't wearing gloves. You really think they would be wearing gloves, especially when touching the food!

No flavor... no spice!
No taste... supposed to be spiced... no flavor!

Clean taste and not greasy
These People's Choice beef sticks are so tasty! Unlike most beef sticks, they aren't greasy and are a little bit drier. It definitely tastes like a healthier, cleaner beef stick option that doesn't leave my mouth feeling gross after eating. The flavors are good too. I was expecting the hot one to be super spicy but it doesn't pack much heat. I liked the taco flavor- it was unique and didn't disappoint.I really enjoyed these. The flavors were delicious and the size is perfect for snacking. I will definitely order these again!

Some bold and unique flavors in the variety pack for beef sticks
I received the variety pack with five 4oz bags, with each containing 9 individually wrapped beef sticks.Hickory: Initially, my first try of these I didn't think I could taste any hickory or smoke flavor. But upon coming back around to try these again after testing the other flavors, I can taste the smoke lingering on the backend. It's really subtle though. Pretty neutral tasting otherwise.Salt & Pepper: This is pleasant, simple with a slight black pepper kick, not too much but enough to sense its flavor.Spicy: You can definitely taste the red chili's in this one. It's got heat, nothing most people can't handle but it's there. It's good.Taco: The distinct flavor that beef is seasoned with when you buy street tacos that are filled with ground meat, maybe even like Taco Bell's flavoring. This one stands out and is definitely one of those novelty flavors. If you like this sort of flavoring, go for it.Pepperoni: This one surprised me as well, but in that I didn't feel it captured pepperoni flavor well. It has a licorice bite to it. I want to say it comes from fennel seed (if it's fennel seed, you don't see or feel it when you bite into the stick so it may be pretty ground up and mixed well). It's another one of those novelty flavors. All in all, the beef sticks were packed well for individual bites whenever you wanted a savory snack. The variety keeps things interesting and it's great to try out some standout flavors that aren't normally seen in other beef sticks.

Great snack, fair price, but...
tl;dr:I got the variety pack and tried all the flavors. These are pretty good for what they are and at less than a dollar per, I think they're good value. They taste good and they have a good texture. They're a little greasy (less than a "Slim Jim"), but I'm OK with that.I'm docking a star because of one *major* issue: The inside of each bag smelled absolutely *horrible.* A pungent mix of chemical and rotten smell. These didn't come from the meat sticks themselves because each were sealed and none appeared spoiled or rancid. The smell probably came from somewhere else during the packing process.Additional details:Each bag contains around 10ish individually wrapped meat sticks. Another reviewer did a more detailed analysis on weight and quantity so read that for details if you're curious.I have one complaint and I think it's pretty significant: The inside of *each* bag smelled *really* bad. There's also no desiccant in the bags which I think added to the problem. Please add a desiccant to the bags. More on this later. Each stick is individually wrapped which I have mixed feelings about (all the extra plastic waste, etc.) but admittedly convenient. The sticks are a bit greasy, but that's expected. They're less greasy than a Slim Jim brand "meat stick" however.I liked all of the flavors, but if I had to pick one, I'd pick sea salt and pepper. The Street Taco flavor tasted like the taco seasoning mix you get at a store. It wasn't bad by any means, but more of an observation. The "Extra Hot" ones were mildly spicy to me and I only tasted the spicy after about 3/4ths of the stick. You might think different, so try a small bit first and judge yourself. In terms of the malodorous smell, if only one bag smelled, I'd be concerned about only that bag and figure one of the meat sticks wasn't sealed properly and spoiled. But it wasn't only one bag. The fact that all five of the variety bags smelled just as awful tells me this is an issue somewhere during the packing process.None of the meat stick wrappers appeared damaged and none seemed spoiled. Could it be the room air from the packing plant, or if nitrogen is used, the nitrogen source?Would a desiccant have helped? Not sure, but would have at least reduced oxygen and any lingering moisture.Whatever it is, this *really* needs to be addressed. Unfortunately I can't provide People's Choice the lot number of the bags because I frustratingly lost the bag of bags when I brought them to work over the weekend. I'm kinda mad at myself. If you receive smelly bags (this sounds funny), please contact People's Choice (not via Amazon) and let them know and provide them the lot number, if any, posted on the bag.Anyways, aside from the one major complaint, I would recommend these as long as the cause for my complaint is resolved. If the cause cannot or isn't resolved (i.e. you receive a smelly bag a month or more from when this comment is posted), then I retract my recommendation.
