terrible quality brand
terrible quality. when I opened package some paint tubes were almost empty, some dried up and some were punctured and paint flowing out of them. I talked to vendor and they sent me a new set. same thing. it is not a vendor problem, but a manufacturer problem. stay away from this brand.

be careful opening each tube
not bad for the price, but be careful opening tubes: some are watery at the top, some almost Explode the content out, so if not prepared, you could lose some paint! but the colors are lovely and Sheer. :-)

It's better to use better quality artists' watercolours for anything permanent
As another reviewer said, some tubes have liquid near the opening, sometimes lots of it. It's probably gum arabic. You need to poke a thin stick and mix the paint in the tube. In some tubes the paint is already quite hard. The paints are halfway between traditional Western watercolours and gouache in transparency. The paints are inexpensive (I got a set of 24 12 ml tubes for $22) but the covering capacity is low. Most likely plenty of filler and less pigment. I have heard on artists' forums that the colours are fugitive; they will fade in bright light. I have no direct experience. I use them for practicing Chinese brush painting. It's better to use better quality artists' watercolours for anything permanent. The two stars are for the poor quality. The packaging is poor too; four of my tubes had already leaked out in the box. Low price is no excuse. I get Camlin Kokuyo watercolours in India which cost about a dollar for a 20 ml tube. With all that negative sentiment, I would still buy these!

Three Stars
Use Marie's for Chinese Brush paintings. They do dry out quickly but are reasonably priced.

Third Time!
I love the brilliance in these colors! The texture and solubility is always constant. This makes my third order and they were recommended by a professional (and successful, I might add!) artist & instructor!

very disappointed!
I received a small size of tubes instead of big size indicated in the description, couples of tubes were dry, not sealed well enough, very disappointed!

Four Stars
FAirly nice colors, but several were lumpy and came out messy.
