These are probably one of the better Doritos flavours if you like something with a bit of heat. The chilli flavour starts off slightly sweet before the spice kicks in, and there’s enough seasoning on most of the crisps to keep them interesting. The crunch is good as always, and the large sharing bag is ideal for movie nights or having people over. They also work well with dips, especially sour cream. The downside is they can get quite salty and intense after a while, especially if you eat a lot in one go. The seasoning also leaves your fingers absolutely covered. Overall, a really solid flavour if you enjoy spicy snacks, just probably not something you’d want to snack on every single day.

Doritos Chilli Heatwave are easily one of my favourite crisps. The flavour is spot on, you get that bold, tangy kick first and then a nice level of heat that builds without being overwhelming. They’re spicy enough to be exciting but not so hot that you can’t enjoy them properly. The crunch is always satisfying, and the seasoning is evenly coated on the chips, so every bite is full of flavour. The 180g sharing bag is a great size for movie nights or having friends over, although I’ll admit it’s very easy to finish the whole bag yourself! I'm a massive fan. I do with they were cheaper which is the only reason not to give 5* but these are beautiful crisps that offer the perfect Dorito crunch but with a sweet and spicy flavour. Not overly spicy. Jut enough to compliment the flavour.
