This is very well made.
The hose is straight cut and has compression ends. The ends are high quality. They give you a 10Ft leader to hook the reel to your faucet. One end of the leader has a special fitting on it that snaps onto the inlet fitting that has an oring on it. Lube the orings with vaseline or oring lube to increase life with no leaks. Do not use motor oil or trans fluid as it will swell the oring and then it's life is shortened. I mounted two 2x4 sections to my studs then mounted the reel. I added the clamp on the bottom (not supplied) as I am not removing this. End of season I blow the hose out with shop air so it does not freeze. The manual has to be downloaded from a qr code on a sheet of paper in the box. But you dont really need a manual it is pretty self explanatory. The maker - fitt- has a website and I think parts can be ordered from there. The hose for sure can. I have been looking at hose reels for a few years and when I saw this I knew it was what I had been looking for. It took about an hour to install including cutting the wood. When you take off the gray cap where the handle goes pry out the inner threaded boss before you pull the cap off. It makes it very easy to install the handle and cap. I added the bungee so it does not unroll when I am not using it. Make sure the ends are on the hose and the ferrule nuts are tight before you turn on the water. On the website it states you can remove both ends off the hose but one ends removal requires pliers and an allen wrench. I did not see that but I did not remove the ferrule nut on the end that screws onto the spray nozzle.

Works well, range is tough to beat
This comes mostly pre-assembled, though be aware that you will have to un-spool the entire hose so you can attach the hose to the quick connector on the inside of the reel and to push the crank housing out on the other side.Once that's connected, you just take the 10ft connector hose, quick-connect that to the side of the reel, connect the other end to the spigot and you're good to go! Well, ok, add a nozzle first perhaps. The hose definitely feels like some kind of middle ground between heavy/never-kink and light - when empty it definitely looked like it could kink up, but with water in it, it seems good. The 110 foot reach is pretty tough to beat, and the reel works well. It's fairly light even with the hose on it until you put water in the hose, which stabilizes it. No issues with water pressure or leakage (as long as you make sure to tighten all the connectors before connecting it to the water supply).I do also have to mention that the company went cheap (but I suppose very slightly eco-friendly) on the manual - all you get in the package is a piece of paper with a QR code. The code was very hard to scan because said paper was very crumpled from just being thrown into the plastic bag with the crank handle and other bits & pieces. If you do manage to scan the code you are taken to a pretty standard-looking manual though.

Great Little Hose Reel for Our Garden
We have a large vegetable garden, and we always seem to need more hoses, so why not get one that's fully portable. This is a good quality hose reel, easy to set up, and now we can carry the hose around to wherever it's needed to water our raised beds.
