This type of TSA approved luggage lock is becoming quite widely available now. For a pair, the price is about average. They seem to be very solidly made, simple to use and setting the combination to your choice is very straightforward. I will be testing these in anger in a couple of weeks time and hope they perform as expected. If not, I'll be back!

These are strong and sturdy for the size of them and work perfectly. I was going into hospital for surgery recently and although I take minimal stuff with me I don’t like the thought of leaving my small backpack with my phone in it open for anyone to be able to access. This was the perfect solution as the cable was thin enough to go through the zipper pull holes. This is easy to set your own combination with the simple instructions and is a solid construction with enough strength for something of this size. It would not stop someone who went equipped with tools to steal stuff out your bag, but it will stop the opportunist from just dipping their hands in. These are sturdy locks with a long enough cable to go through multiple zips if required. They are fairly chunky and have a nice weight and will be ideal for my daughter as I dont have to worry about her losing the key. They look as though they will resist being forced open easily.It says TSA agents have a special key so they can open the lock if required without damaging the case or lock, but I worry about these keys falling into the wrong hands. Saying that I will still use them because if a determined thief wants to steal your belongings then will break the lock open with bolt cutters if they really wanted to anyway.

This is a good quality set of two locks. They are easy to setup and the instructions are clear for changing the pin. They are not the smallest, but not huge either and won’t add too much weight to your luggage.I’ve been using one of mine on an outdoor shed and so far so good. It does sometimes get stiff a bit when trying to open it, but it’s not a regular thing. It could possibly be because it’s in the outside environment.

These are not high security padlocks, and neither are they intended to be. However, they do serve the purpose of preventing the casual thief from opening your bag and seeking items of value. It slows them down, which is the aim I am sure, meaning that they will go to another case for a quick grab!Easy to change the code and versatile with their wire closure. A decent design and effective for what they are!

These are larger than they look in the images. The locking mechanism feels secure and the finish is quite sturdy. Will use them in our next trip and report back if anything is awry.
