I like this door lock set. It has a cool fun look and vibe to it. It looks good on our front door and ties the aesthetic of our house together. This door lock set was easy to set up and install. The installation process was straightforward and easy to complete. It was also easy to configure and sync with our phone and set up the other authentication methods. The door lock looks and feels like it is solidly constructed and feels quite strong and durable. The handle set is easy to use and works well. This door lock set has been a nice addition to our home that works well and is easy to use.

I was excited about the features of this lock - one positive is the doorbell rings both on the unit itself and on the remote speaker - however the remote speaker is USB so you need a separate USB power source to plug it into. Video mode with a guest is less than ideal -The speaker on the deadbolt isn’t very loud at its loudest setting - so if there is any noise from a neighbor’s lawn mower or even a modern quiet car driving by it’s difficult to hear. I thought you would be able to pull up the camera from the mobile app whenever you wanted to, but it doesn’t appear you can interrogate the camera from your phone app, instead it only activates when someone presses the doorbell - and then your conversation may be incomplete as it times out within a few seconds - and once it drops the only way to initiate conversation again is if the person at the door presses the doorbell again.I ended up returning this primarily because of the poor quality door latch mechanism which could leave us trapped inside or locked out. The mechanism has play in it and the pull pins will slip past the track if ANY pressure is put on the door plunger at all. I don’t know if I had a defective mechanism or what but unless I adjusted my front door to be loose rather than having the latch have even the slightest pressure to hold the door against the weather seal the latch would slip. I really hope mine was just defective - but either way I returned it. I am skilled with locks, I worked on everything from under counter drawer locks to bank vaults and safes for multiple years.
