Very nice suitcase!!! Looks sleek, lightweight, rolls great. However, I returned because it’s TOO LARGE for international luggage requirements. I kept the next size down as total dimensions on it are 61” which meets the 62” max for most international flights. ***I will say all my travel companions have larger “max size” suitcases and have never had a problem. I just don’t want to risk it PLUS don't want to fill it up and have it be too heavy for me to manage.

Only used it twice so far. Fantastically light weight bag. Great bag and the way it’s configured with zipper coverings on each side my travel cubes are now usable. The external zipper is great and has it own locks.

Light weight, large suitcase. (30.4 inside height). Good color. The problem are there are no tie down straps built in the suitcase. NO way to secure of any delicate coltents. The contents in the suitcase will rattle around and will damage each other, the lining, and the suitcase. Especially on Air Travel. THIS is a Samsonite, not some no brand knock off. Shame on whoever designed and built this. Recall and repair. I expect it to last only 1 or 2 trips.

Great quality but too small. Had to return. They used to make bigger carryons. Can’t fit anything more than for a weekend max.

With the new size restrictions of 22x14x9” for airline carryon luggage, I had to ditch my Delsey, which btw, I love; it has a depth of 10”. I researched if the 1” extra would be a problem on airlines and for every one of them, including foreign airlines, it was a solid yes. After reading so many reviews on Amazon and on the internet comparing lots of luggage, I decided on this Samsonite because of the company’s longstanding reputation. This carryon fits 22x14x9” airline standard. And yes, the 5lbs that it states in the description is pretty accurate. The shell is very lightweight and can be pushed in easily. I’m glad it’s a carryon and not going in the cargo hold; I’d be worried about heavier luggage being thrown on it and possibly cracking the shell. But maybe it won’t. In any case, it’ll be safe in an overhead bin. I bought the blue, and although I am generally not a fan of lighter blues, this has a metallic sheen that is very pleasing. The pull-up handle is pretty smooth with minimal wabble…there is always some give on these handles. The TSA lock works great. I read some reviews stating the bag came locked with no instructions. My advice, Google or YouTube it. I also saw some reviews saying the zipper pull on the lining at the bottom of the compartment was sewn in backwards. I Googled it! It’s supposed to be that way. Makes sense though, not only for repairs but the pull won’t get caught on clothing sitting against it. The carryon appears to have enough room for 3-4 days for clothing; I haven’t tried it yet. I will be traveling to Europe in June so I may do a follow-up to speak on the durability after being thrown in and out of a tour bus. But so far, and because of the Samsonite reputation, it’s a keeper.

this suitcase is beautiful in all the ways. i’ve had more than my share of international sized rollaboards - from away, tumi, sampsonite, b&r…but this is my new favorite. it’s a tiny bit smaller, but it has the zipper expander thing and that still keeps it within the size requirements for intl. and i swear - i don’t even own a purse that feels this lightweight!! i love that both sides have covers on the interior and when i close them but unzip the exterior zipper, i put shoes between the two sides and the zipped compartments keep them off my clothes. looks sharp and is quite durable. zero issues with the wheels. bonus - it’s less expensive than the fancy brands and it’s high quality. did i mention it’s very lightweight?! it’s VERY lightweight!! love it.

I have used it multiple times now and am very happy. Looks good, easy to roll around, sufficient space for things inside. It would be even nicer if there was a pocket for documents, but this is not a dealbreaker for me.

This model has the perfect carry on dimensions of 22x14x9. I bought it for a trip and have only used it once so far. PROS - Perfect dimensions. Others were slightly off spec. - Light, great maneuverability, easy to steer, moves well. - Handles feel solid, not wobbly. -TSA approved lock. CONS - It lacks any interior zip up compartments around the side or top. So no place for stashing jewelry pouches or easily accessible small items. It never occurred to me that this was a feature I always had in previous luggage & miss. - There are no outer pocket (which I knew from photos) so clean lines but no stashing tickets or pcs. - The suitcase opens in the middle with 2 sides which are pretty shallow so even with my small feet, shoes must be flat not standing against the sides (like I formerly did or the expandable part will be open & dimensions too large) so there’s some space lost. A zippered fabric closes over each side but no pockets on it as previously mentioned. All-in-all, you get what you paid for. Affordable price with Samsonite name but not top tier. I think small details are lacking but gets the job done. I’m not sure how well the polycarbonate shell will perform since it’s the first one I’ve ever owned. Feels flimsy but time will tell - it was only carried onto the plane & not subjected to abuse of check-in luggage.

It's a very lightweight, attractive, and simple suitcase. 4 stars because there is no rubber bumper around the zipper/suitcase border so the zipper fabric is a bit exposed to potential wear and tear.
