ASICS Mens Gel-Kayano 31

I’ve worn many running shoes over the years, but the ASICS Gel-Kayano 31 2E stands out as the best yet. The wider 2E fit is a game-changer—finally, a shoe that gives enough room without feeling sloppy. The cushioning is phenomenal; it absorbs impact effortlessly while still providing excellent stability for longer runs. The design in Steel Grey/Piedmont Grey looks sharp and modern, versatile enough for both running and casual wear. Breathability is excellent, and after several miles, my feet still feel fresh with no hotspots or discomfort. This shoe balances support, comfort, and style—this is it. I’d recommend the Gel-Kayano 31 to any serious runner or anyone who spends long hours on their feet. The arch support is great especially if you use custom orthotics. Absolutely worth the investment!

Best running shoe I’ve ever bought. The stupid amount of cushion, not only helps my flat feet, but helps quite a bit with my knees. They have lasted a year, which is pretty nuts when you take into account that it’s a running shoe, so short term use. Great traction and functionality, and fit. The arch support on this is pretty good. After a year of hard use, running an hour every day these things lasted like a champ, did not expect that. R inning shoes aren’t exactly known for durability. Wil buy these again and again.

These are the most comfortable shoes I have ever had. I used to run years ago, but had stopped because life got in the way. I decided I needed to get back to exercising, so I decided to at least start walking again. I live in a very hilly area, and during my first walk down my first hill, I was reminded of the shin splint pain I felt all those years ago when running. I did not even know if I could even make it back home, but I did. I immediately started researching best shoes for walking and dealing with shin splints; I found these as highly recommended, so I got same day delivery; I was surprised by how light and comfortable they were. The next day I set out to try my walk again. I could not believe the difference in these shoes and my regular shoes. I walked five miles up and down hills without any shin pain whatsoever; after some time I even began running again. I have now been walking, running, or bicycling every day for the past 7 months, and I have had no shin or foot pain to speak of. The shoes have held up very well, but if they ever need replacing, I am definitely purchasing these again.

Great fitness shoe, not just for running. Fit is true to size, with a slightly wider toe box than Hoka and Adidas. Definitely more comfortable for me since I have a slightly wider foot. The amount of cushioning is also just right. I tried the New Balance 1080s and Hoka Cliftons and they had too much cushioning which made them less stable for runs and workouts. The Kayano is a stability running shoe so it makes sense. I purchased last year's model (Kayano 31) and saved $40 over this year's model.

I ordered the same shoe that I knew fit perfectly, this was about a 1/2 size smaller than what I needed. I kept it thinking that it may break in. Never did. Quality was good, I should have returned right away.

I've been a loyal Asics customer for years, and their size 10.5 always fits me perfectly, so I knew what to expect there. What I didn't expect was how these shoes would feel on a 20-mile run. Honestly, it felt like I was cheating! The carbon plate and the amount of bounce these shoes provide is incredible. I felt like I was being propelled forward with each step, and my legs felt much fresher than usual at the end of the run. They're incredibly comfortable, and I didn't experience any blisters or hot spots, even on such a long distance. Pros: True to size, consistent with Asics sizing. Exceptional bounce and responsiveness from the carbon plate. Incredibly comfortable for long distances. Reduces leg fatigue. Cons: Might be a bit pricey for some. I'm curious to see how durable the sole is over time. These shoes have definitely earned a spot in my regular training rotation. I'm seriously considering making them my go-to for all my long runs. They're that good.

Bought these a whiole back. the fit is good, get dirty easy, needed a wide show, it is a little snug but not bad at all. Nice comfort.

The Gel-Kayano 31 feels more balanced than the previous version. The midsole gives softer landings without losing support. Fit is true to size with enough room in the toe box. Great for long runs or everyday training. The upper breathes well and feels premium. A strong all-round shoe for runners who want comfort and stability.
