The best thing since sliced bread — and unlike bread, it doesn’t go stale!
Let’s get one thing out of the way: this Roku Ultra is so good, I’m pretty sure it’s the reason I stopped leaving the house. 4K, HDR10+, Dolby Vision, Atmos, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi 6, a remote with a rechargeable battery and glorious backlit buttons — honestly, I don’t even watch anything half the time, I just scroll through the menus in beautiful Ultra HD.It’s fast. It’s slick. And unlike my smart TV’s built-in apps, it doesn’t crash like a toddler after sugar. Also, the remote lights up, which means I no longer have to feel around the couch cushions like I'm decoding ancient runes every time I want to pause the show and yell at someone.Oh, and the voice search? Yeah, it works great… unless you slur your way through “find me something not terrible” — in which case it bravely presents every Hallmark movie ever made. But really, what more could I ask for? A device that streams literally everything, doesn’t judge me for watching a 7-season true crime doc in two days, and makes me feel vaguely like a tech wizard every time I say, “Launch Netflix” and it actually does.Forget sliced bread — this thing is the freshly baked sourdough of streaming players.10/10 would Ultra again. I own three.

Roku makes a great product and this is their best one yet!
All Roku products are great, but this one is their current best. It works better because it has more memory and faster processors inside. It also has a remote you can speak to and have it follow your commends. The price was lower than other options and the footprint is small. It easily sits on a level surface or it can be hung for your convenience. It takes seconds to install and it's easy to setup - especially if you already have a Roku account. This unit doe not generate heat and it remains cool as it easily dissipates any heat it may generate.I don't know why they want me to speak to the box quality, but the box it comes in is efficiently packed and it has everything you need to work right out of the box.

Best Roku— Ever!
I’ve been using Rokus since their 2nd generation that I bought in 2010. They’ve had their issues here and there over the years, notably internal memory that caused buffering issues when loading streaming services. Other little idiosyncrasies like remote control issues and video quality didn’t stop me from buying successive units over the years; and, now, we have the latest Ultra. For me, Roku has finally ironed out all the wrinkles and added some new features that make this streaming device exceptional. Not all the features are new but, now, this version has a backlit remote that can also control your TV and, hey, no more batteries. It’s rechargeable via usb c and holds a charge for weeks despite daily use. Voice control is also now a feature that has matured and now very well. It saves lots of time “typing” in menu screens. Well done!I’m no audiophile but I use this Ultra with a higher end Samsung QLED with a fully wireless (that’s right, bluetooth) connectivity to a Samsung Q Symphony 3.1.1 slim soundbar/sub and the whole system works, looks and sound spectacular in a 14x20 great room with volume ceiling. The new Ultra also allows super easy connection to bluetooth headphones, the first Roku device other than their TVs and sound bars to have that capability. And this feature performs exceptionally well. All in all all the features are here and all of them work fast and very well. If I had just one critique it would be the size of the unit. Put all of it in a stick instead of a full size Roku and this would be a 11 out of 10 but I can hardly deduct a star for that. As it is, I have it mounted behind my TV screen, so neither the Roku nor cables are visible. So, in all. this latest Roku Ultra is an easy 5/5. Outstanding!

Roku easy to use and fast processing of streaming channels
Like: all the functionality of the remote, Like the screen layout, easy to navigate quickly.Love: The speed and quality of processing streaming data vs my Amazon Fire TV Stick (in fairness, an older model)Little issue: The Mute button is too easily pushed by mistake (by me) while holding the remote and selecting other keys in the top half of the remote.Would like it if: 4 selection buttons at bottom (Netflix, Disney+, Apple TV+, and Prime Video) were just A,B,C,D and programmable by the user

Great Roku device, but YouTube needs fixing
The Roku overall works really well - setup was smooth, the interface is easy to navigate, and most streaming apps like Netflix, Hulu, and Prime Video run perfectly without any issues. Picture quality is solid and performance is responsive. The only reason I’m giving 4 stars instead of 5 is because of YouTube. For some reason, YouTube refuses to load properly while every other app works fine on the same network connection. It just keeps saying “No connection,” even though the Roku itself is clearly online since other apps stream without buffering.I’ve tried uninstalling/reinstalling YouTube and resetting the device, but the issue still persists. It feels like a software compatibility problem between Roku and YouTube rather than a hardware issue. If Roku and YouTube can address this glitch, this would easily be a 5-star streaming device.
