You can eat the paper. That is an edible wafer paper or edible rice paper since the turrones itself is sticky because it is made partly with honey. Enjoy!

Delicious. I have loved nougat since I was a child. I am 65 & still love it. I prefer the hard over the soft. I can find soft nougat at Home Goods & stores like it but I can never find the hard. This one is so good & full of almonds. It was very fresh & just the right consistency.
