Great product - trust the size guide
I pulled a hamstring a week before a planned hike in the North Dakota Badlands. Didn't want to cancel the trip, so began doing everything I could to quickly rehab, and also looked for protection for the hike. The Sparthos thigh compression sleeve was a key component for both, and my leg held up while camping.Sizing seems to be everyone's primary concern, so let me provide specifics. I'm 5'8" and weigh 168. My thighs are 22" at the thickest point (about halfway). The size guide told me to order the XXL, which seemed wrong to me. I didn't have time so I ordered the XXL and the XL. The XXL fit perfectly and provided an ideal level of compression. It helped blood circulate to the area during rehab and provided just the right level of support when hiking. By comparison, the XL felt a little uncomfortably tight.Staying in place: I wore the sleeve all day every day during the hike. The temps were pretty high (80's, 90's, and one day above 100) so I was sweating pretty good. Also had to do a couple river crossings (slightly above waist high water). Through it all, the sleeve stayed in place and didn't slip. I've since used it in the gym where, regardless of the movement I'm doing, it remains in place.Support: Can't say enough. It definitely helped speed up my recovery, and held my thigh together through some challenging conditions. I was very deliberate in how I moved coming off the injury, but the sleeve definitely improved my confidence. All in, I was pleasantly surprised at how effective this simple structure has been.

Great product once sizing is established
We measured my son's thigh for the first order and the sleeve was too loose. We dropped back one size and the new one was perfect for him. It provided good compression and support to a pulled muscle and did not slide around.

Very stretchy!
So the sizing was 100% right with the top of my thigh because the not slip top fits nice and snug- however, from mid thigh down the sleeve is so stretchy and I wish it was a tad tighter. I cant say to size down because if I went down a size i think the top would be too tight on my thigh lol

Worth the money
Size matched, very comfortable and just tight enough for the upper thigh.

Works as designed - sizes vary
I bought these after having frequent leg pain during walks. I walk regularly 4x/week 1 hour each walk. A bought these and my leg feels much better. As a size reference, I am 5’10” 185lbs and thigh measurement is 20” I tried both a Large and an XL. I ended using the large and it’s perfect. Not too tight but tight enough to provide support.

If you need compression for activity with an injury, size down.
I think the sleeves are potentially a 4 star, but the sizing is such that I am not able to rate the performance other than a 3. I ordered the sleeves as I recently injured my hamstring. I am able to do most things comfortably with the injury including biking and walking. I am unable to go running.Fit: My thigh measurement is 22, so I ordered a XXL per the online chart (well within the 19”-23” suggested sizing). Until referencing the chart, I thought I had skinny legs 😊. For competing products, my leg size would align with either a medium or large. I was concerned that it would be too large, but based upon the reviews and Sparthos’ guidance, I felt it prudent to order the XXL.The sleeve was a little too long, but okay if I folded the bottom inch over. The compression support is on the lighter side, but not enough compression for an injury. Given most people want a sleeve to either recover from an injury, or to provide support post injury, the sleeve is sized too large in my opinion. With this experience, I will either return it or try to exchange it for an XL but would be concerned that it might be too tight, as according to the table, it was designed for someone with a thigh 6” smaller than my own.Every day use: The size did provide a comfortable fit and light support for everyday activities. I spent yesterday walking the dogs and yardwork. Although I had no issues with my hamstring doing the same activities without the sleeve, it was nice to have some support.Running: This morning I decided to see if they helped with my run. In an attempt to run 3-days prior, running longer than 2 minutes would aggravate it. Today, after three days rest, running with the wrap gave me about the same results. There wasn’t enough compression to make a difference. Given the support it provided with my 22” thighs, I would assume there would be no support in the XXL size if I had 19” thighs.Quality/Durability: The sleeves appear to be well built with good stitching and fabric. The fabric is comfortable, and feels like it breathes well.Other: Looking at the size table, most competing wraps do not include children’s sizes, with their smalls starting at 16/17 which would be an XL for a Sparthos sleeve. This may cause some confusion for customers. In addition, Sparthos has a 4” range for the XXL size, where most other manufacturers have a 2” range. Though I believe, hHaving children’s sizes could be a competitive advantage for Sparthos.Unsolicited Recommendation: Separate the children’s sizes from the adult sizes – making the Large a ”Small adult size” and so on, to help eliminate confusion on sizing. Also recommend the largest size should be broken down into smaller size ranges. I would suggest those addressing injuries should consider going down a size for additional compression (assuming blood circulation is not affected).Note: Sparthos did reach out to me four days ago asking for feedback on the size. I replied the next day with the same info in this review, but have not yet received a response.

Great Product
I had a hip flexor injury and , although healing, still had some pain in groin area. I wore this and could play pickleball with no discomfort at all. I continue to wear it despite being all most pain free now because it gives me added support and is very comfortable despite the compression.
