Normally, I would never pay $10 for a package of cookies. I'm a fan of the Australian show Wentworth (thank-you, Netflix.) On an impulsive whim, I decided to see if you could purchase these, as they are referenced many times by certain characters. Honestly, I thought they were probably made up. Imagine my surprise when I discovered that, not only were they a real product, they sounded tasty and could be ordered here on Amazon. (Then again, what can't you buy here on Amazon? Lol.) The cookies, or biscuits (as they are called in Australia,) arrived quickly and packaged securely. The taste was almost like a shortbread flavor followed by a nice hint of raspberry coconut. It is (in my opinion) kind of reminiscent of a Pepperidge Farm type of cookie. It was expensive because, unlike myself, it is a product of Australia. So, although I enjoyed the cookie, I probably would not buy them again. If they were available locally (making them cheaper) I would definitely keep buying them. That being said, I now know what many Australians know, the taste of an Arnott's Monte Carlo "biscuit." ( I wonder what the Australians call a cookie?)

Best biscuits in world but don’t travel well as end biscuits crumble - but even crumbs were delicious.

Love these. Very unique taste and texture. I would sit and eat these back home in Australia relaxing. Or fill a plate with these and Tim Tams for a barbie. Every now and then I indulge in goodies from back home because God knows I am sick to death of Cinnamon and Peanut Butter flavoured everything here...sigh. You can't really describe the taste as it's unique to Monte Carlo. I also don't like jam having said that you don't taste the jam in these because of the creamy filling in between the biscuits. If you are looking for something unique to eat with your cuppa, these are it!!

Aussie here. Living in the US I missed the gold ole Monte Carlos. Hadn't had one in a dozen years. I ordered them here. They were delivered with minimal damage (a little bit of crumble on some--nothing major), and they were fresh--not stale. However, the amount of coconut raspberry marshmallow cream was minimal compared to many years ago--very thin layer. You get a small taste of it, but nothing like in the good old days. No fault of the Seller.
