I Installed this on my enclosed cargo trailer that is sometimes used for camping. I wanted a window that can be used as an emergency exit, and this was an excellent choice. In my case I had to do some modifications to the wall that would receive the window, since this window requires a 30” wide opening. My trailer has vertical members closer together than that, so I had to do some cutting and welding of the framing. Once the opening is prepped, installation is a breeze. Just use butyl rubber in between the outside of your wall and the window frame, and it will seal out rain. The window opening/closing mechanism works very well, and it is nice to be able to open the window even while it is raining. The tinted glass is perfect, dark enough to keep out glare but not too dark. Excellent window, recommended.

This is what I would say could be considered the best style for RV window. It gives you the option as an escape window, or even just a nice way yo get an open breeze way into your RV or trailer. Really my favorite so far.

This window was the perfect size replacement window for our old leaky camper window. We also really like how it opens outwards so we can crack it open in the rain and not worry about getting water inside the camper and it has a screen to keep the bugs out. It was relatively straight forward to install and can be done with minimal tools and experience. Just make sure to seal it well to the outside wall of the camper to prevent water from getting in between the window and the wall.

I got this for a DIY toy hauler project, but then found out my existing trailer is only 8' wide. That's fine for a car, but too narrow for an offroad rig. So I haven't had a chance to install this window yet, but it does look and feel like a typical RV window. A cardboard template is included in the packaging so you can get a precise layout of the hole to cut. The listing indicates it works with wall thickness starting at 1.25" but when I measured the frame it seemed to bottom out at 1.5" thick. Maybe that extra is to account for some seals in the sandwich, but just be aware.
