I’ve been using the Lamtto Wireless Apple CarPlay screen in my BMW X3, and overall it’s a very solid upgrade. Installation was straightforward, and the wireless CarPlay connection works well once set up. The display is bright, responsive, and integrates nicely with both Apple Maps and third-party apps like Waze.That said, there are a couple of drawbacks to be aware of:• Speaker Quality: The built-in speaker is noticeably subpar. It works, but the sound is hollow and lacks clarity. It’s especially noticeable with navigation or music playback.• Bluetooth Limitations: Unfortunately, the device doesn’t support outputting audio to your car’s Bluetooth system, which is frustrating. You have to rely on the AUX cable for better audio output, or use the built-in speaker, which isn’t ideal.• Wi-Fi Toggle: Occasionally, I have to manually toggle Wi-Fi off and on from my iPhone to get CarPlay to connect properly. It’s not a dealbreaker, but it does make the experience a bit less seamless.Despite these minor annoyances, it’s still a great addition to an older vehicle like the X3 that doesn’t have native CarPlay. If you’re okay with using an AUX cable or can tolerate the built-in speaker, it’s definitely worth the price.

I bought this to add CarPlay to a 2015 Kia Soul. Returned a competitor solution and this is great. The magnet mount with the vent is strong and doesn’t move, and the ability to use in portrait or landscape is amazing. The screen size is about the same as other vehicles or you can go larger with other models.Be sure to read the instructions when installing. I do wish it included a cigarette lighter adapter that had an additional USB port for charging the phone and providing power to the unit. Using this through Bluetooth and the lag is very minimal. Very glad I found this and a great value for the money. Just please upgrade the charger to allow simultaneous power to screen and charging the phone.

This device is like a portable tablet on my dash. Stuck on easy, and hasn't fallen off yet. Connects very quickly to Bluetooth.The screen is bright and responsive, and the wireless connectivity works flawlessly. GPS navigation, Bluetooth, and voice control all function smoothly, making my drives safer and more enjoyable.

I bought this to use in my semi truck instead of swapping out the stereo. Before mounting it, I plugged it in to set the settings & connected my phone so I wouldn’t have to mess with it once mounted. I was glad to see this unit came with multiple mounts & all necessary cables. I decided to use the magnet vent mount, Bluetooth to the CarPlay screen & aux cord to my stereo. The first day this worked fine for about 5 hours. The next day it started glitching after 1.5 hours. The screen went blank, then the whole unit would shut down & restart every few minutes. Eventually it stopped showing the CarPlay screen (maps, music, etc.) but I could still hear the music. When I would click on the screen's CarPlay button it would go to the menu for Bluetooth settings.Yes I used the included power cable. Yes I tried unplugging & restarting. Yes I tried “forget device” & reconnecting Bluetooth. Yes I have a new enough phone that is updated(iphone14). Yes I tried a software update on the unit(it even stopped working while trying to update). This is no good to me at this point since I use CarPlay for the maps & music control which doesn’t show up on the screen.I have tried multiple units & thought this was going to be the best one but I guess not. Also, One feature that this does NOT have but I’ve seen on other units is the ability to set audio output to Bluetooth while also having audio input set to Bluetooth which is good because you don’t need the aux cable so there’s only one cable visible (power cable).

I setup it on my old car civic, connect to my phone, and yes, It works perfectly. This system very easy to setup and very easy to use. I connect this car play with my backup camera and it work good. Also, I like the quality of this carplay, screen look clear for all angle look. It comes with a lot of acessary like car mount cup and magnetic holder, you can choose which one best for you to keep the carplay screen fits in your hand working zone. Now my car looks like the moderm car after I setup this carplay, I really enjoy it. I highly recommend this for who want to upgrade from a old GPS to this awesome carplay.
