The one and only!
The one and only! No matter what other brands I try I always end up back with Colman's. It's not brand loyalty, because I don't do brand loyalty, and it's not out of habit, it's simply - to me - definitely the best tasting English mustard to go with our roast dinners, ham sandwiches, soups & casseroles and cheese on toast etc. It's the only one I've found that has got the flavour and the perfect zingy kick you need to liven up foods. Other English mustard's (and I've tried a lot of them) just seem to have been reduced to bland 'flavoured' yellow pastes to appeal to some imaginary universal palate. Some aren't too bad to be fair, and almost come up behind, but mustard is utterly pointless if it doesn't have a detectable zingy kick.Long may it continue.
