Solid Exercise Bike
As someone who is 'allergic' to cycling and prone to falling off, this isn't a bad exercise bike.Billed as being able to cope with a 150kg person, I was expecting something solid, and for the most part it's mainly metal construction, the frame seems sturdy, the whole unit being around 20kg; and can be wheeled around if necessary. I admit to scratching my head a bit during assembly, not being bike savvy, but referring to the manual, it's easy enough; although I couldn't get the handlebar plate to sit flat without crushing one of the wire connectors - I found some steel washers to keep the surfaces apart, and it was fine.In use I was surprised how quiet it was, it resembles a spin bike you see in gyms, the resistance knob makes it much harder with just a slight turn, I had to adjust the seat to allow me to straighten my leg and raise the handlebars. There's a flat surface to put a tablet if you want a distraction, as well as a small plastic gully on the display to rest a phone. The display unit looks like it's from the 80s; green numbers with a couple of mode indicator lights.I had to check the manual to figure out what was the heart rate monitor (P for pulse) and there's no RPM indicator, just speed, distance and calories on the basic display. I guess most would use a workout app with music. In summary, for the price, it's not bad - solid enough (the handlebars do wobble slightly, but the seat seems solid) and it doesn't look cheap. A good basic exercise bike for a cycling newbie like me.

Solid
First off, before I give this a review I want to manage expectations. If you're in the market for something thats technologically advanced, with all the bells and whistles, the extra padding and cushioning, then I would say this bike isn't for you and as such, it's reflected in it's price. This excerise bike take a no frills approach, with a basic outdated LCD screen, displaying figures that inaccurate. The seat although adjustable, is not comfy and after prolonged use you would feel it. The style and design of the bike resembles a spinning bike. Assembly was pretty straightforward, having done a few bikes in my time. The all-metal build quality gives it a robust, durable, weighty feel and as such when in use, it's incredible stable and yet suprisingly quiet. You also get a phone/tablet holder which is a good touch, and is especially warranted, as you don't want to look at the hideous LCD display. The cage pedals aren't exactly comfortable and require you to wear proper footwear. A bottle holder is also supplied that fits to the frame. If you've never used a spinning bike, it will take a little bit of time to get used to, as initially the riding position will feel uncomfortable.Overall, excellent built quality, good perfomance, inferior tech but excellent value for money.
