For me, it works as advertised
I have had no issues with this once I learned how to set the tray in properly. It has become literally a lifesaver for an elder. I have caregivers that come in and they have commented that it's the only one that they've seen that actually works. The only thing I don't like is the tab in front is not lockable, so if your elder likes to fiddle with things they will eventually figure out how to open it and get to all of their pills. The battery compartment locks there should be a lock on the front tab as well. Other than that it's a good value for the money, and the storage capacity is about 13 days of a.m. and p.m. functions like it should and easy to use for everybody

Handy if you have good hands
It's a little tricky to set up at first, and a little different to get meds out if you have RA really bad in your hands but I love how it reminds you that it's time to take meds and moved to the next dose

They just plain started off wrong
It didn't work consistently and was frustrating. The basic concept was almost good, but they went cheap on the buttons. Because of that, they tried to make up for it with software and documentation. Instead of having a button for each function (time, number of daily programs, time for each program, etc.) you have go through specific steps to get to what you want to add or change. Heaven help you if you mess it up, because you then have to go through all the steps again, over and over. Also, people don't wake or eat at the same time every day. For pills that are meal-specific, there's no way to shift a set of pills forward or backward an hour or two to accommodate a difference. On top of all of that, the alarm goes off at the time that it was set for, but it didn't consistently advance to the next set of pills. A total package of frustrations. After they refunded my money, I analyzed it. It holds a pretty large number of pills, including larger multi-vitamins, fish oil, and the like. The parts are well made. Overall, it could have been a contender. The problem was in the design concept. For the initial conceptual mistake, all the marketing and sales teams in the world can't fix what was wrong to start with.

It’s’ not for the elderly
Im not going to give this a bad review. I bought this for my mother in law, because she has dementia. This was a perfect thought to help remind her to take her meds. However, for the elderly, it’s a bit too difficult to figure out. It’s a rather large product

Not secure to leave with a senior with memory issues
Doesn’t “lock” to keep senior for accessing. Description made it seem like it has alarm (which it does) but I thought it would lock with a key so mom with memory issues couldn’t take duplicate.

Great for Seniors With Memory Issues
I got this for my mom while she was living on her own. I noticed she would forget if she took her medication on time or even at all. Now that she lives with me, it helps me to make sure she is taking her medications as directed. It's easy to assemble, fill, and sync to my cell phone and track all her medications. The only downsides are how many notifications I get on my phone and that I can only pair one smart pill box to my phone. But for the assurance that my mom is taking her meds as prescribed, it's a small price easily paid.

Good pill dispenser
The product is really nice with a lot of flexibility regarding medication timing. I use mine for a while, but found that I was not diligent enough at staying atop The Filling schedule

Ease of use
I luckily don’t have dementia, but this pill dispenser affords me the ability to take my medication at the same time daily.

As others have remarked it's not the easiest to set up but that is probably because we have now become used to setting up things on our smartphones which of course you can't do with this but then we don't pay to have that feature. Other than that it's an excellent dispenser and I have anywhere from humongous horse pills bracket magnesium and bracket and itty bitty heart pills and everything else in between for a total of 10 spread over twice a day and I don't lose any through the cracks as some every marked. Do I recommend it sure, would I buy another I'm not sure. The only reason I would have to buy another one is for my wife she now has blister packs and a watch to tell her to use the blister pack.

It's good but very difficult to setup and it takes many tries to get it right. The instructions are not very clear either. But once you set it up, it works well

Good concept - terrible design. There is a gap so smaller medications get mixed up inside. It’s not lockable so my dad with dementia has accidentally opened it and spilled meds everywhere, taken the wrong meds due to the gap flaw. You get what you pay for.
