Quite happy with the quality of the band and definitely feels like it is made to last several years. The band isn't too thick and easy to wrap around your head so that you get good coverage. I do wish there was a way to get it tighter around the head to really get it to work. The Velcro does hold up quite well once you do get it wrapped around your head. For the quality, seems like pretty good value and getting a lot for your money. It has helped with some tension relief, though, not as much as I had hoped for. Guessing this is because I cannot get it tight enough to really work. I appreciate that the points are not sharp enough to cause pain if you accidentally grab one while picking it up.

Well this is a gateway product for sure. It felt weird and kinda hurt then felt good. I do wish the way to tighten it was maybe a fold over style but it's not bad. I also wish the band were slightly closer to the size of the spikes cause then it wouldn't press on my eyes in certain positions. But overall I enjoy this and then proceeded to buy a mat from them.

This head wrap is unique and works rather well to relieve minor headache pain. It feels comfortable yet effective and stays on my head until I'm ready to take it off. It also feels very high-quality and well-made.

The ShaktiMat Acupressure Headband in Shakti Black has exceeded my expectations. I am a longtime user of a spike mat, but I had never heard of a spiked headband before. I have to admit I was a little nervous about being able to use it and what it would be like. The product arrived well-packed in a branded box and came with very good documentation, which includes washing instructions (hand wash in cold and air dry flat).The headband is 27 inches long, which is not overly long, so if you have a larger than average head, you might want to measure its circumference before ordering. The headband will need at least an inch of overlap for the velcro to adhere well. The organic cotton fabric is very soft with a little bit of stretch. Both the fabric and spikes arrived in a clean and undamaged condition ready for use. When I first ran my fingers over the spikes, I worried that they might be too pointy. But after I wore the headband at different tightness levels for a while, I found the spikes to be perfect for the job of relieving tension.I'm very happy with this product, and wearing it has good therapeutic effects. Not everyone will like or appreciate a spiked headband, of course. But for those who generally benefit from acupressure-related products (including all things spiked!), I highly recommend trying this product.

I've owned and used a Shakti mat for months now, so I was eager to see what this headband offers, and I was not disappointed. The headband is of the same high quality as the mat. The Velcro, being of upmost importance for this products function, holds tight and secure. The spikes are quite sharp and the material of headband is soft and light, but durable.The product and box are minimally packaged and would be easy to take on the go. This headband works quickly for its stated goals as well as in certain types of meditation.I've tried generic versions of this headband, but this one is better in almost every way and is worth the cost

It leaves marks on my head, and I just can't get used to how it feels. It's well made, but not a product I reach for, and if I won't use it, well I won't get any benefits. Can't say it's not helpful for those who are comfortable with using it.

I've been using the ShaktiMat Acupressure Headband for a few weeks now, and it's surprisingly effective for relieving tension headaches. At first, the little spikes feel intense, but I quickly adjust to the sensation. It helps to ease the tightness I get in my temples and forehead after a long day of work.
