I treated myself to this redmi watch 5 active as my old mi watch color was ageing! It does everything that the old watch does with a better battery but no GPS. I wanted the ability to answer/make phone calls in case of emergency. All the sports tracking abilities are unimportant to me nowadays. As with most smart watches with health tracking it's pretty average and fairly accurate with sleep monotoring, blood 02 etc. For around £20 on prime day clearance it's a great bit of tech. The strap is awful and very tricky to put on with arthritic hands! but easy to swap out. Battery is good and there's no "always" on mode but I wouldn't use that anyway. Local phone shop put on a screen protector for me and that came from Amazon too! (3 per pack)

Reviewed this smart watch first time round.Very impressed, and at a great price.After a nasty accident I don't use or need the step count so muchAnd all the other smart functions work as expected.With aging sight I wanted an easy to read watch, that offered a clear & easy to read day and date functy.And clear clock face on sunny daysAnd decent illumination at night.This does all of that effortlessly.With a multitude of watch faces available, You'll be spoilt for choice, but you will find one you like .At first I went digital display, but now I find the more traditional type of analogue clock face preferable.All in all, I ticks all my boxes.Only downside I personally found was the watch strap.With an injured hand I found it more tricky & annoying to put on securely.So I swapped for an elasticated watch strap ( comes in various colours & you can swap in seconds.. recommended )Battery life is easily a week plus.So why did I buy two ?Bang on the head meant I kept forgetting to charge it..DOH.So every few weeks it would run out of power and switch off.I searched and bought other watches to supplement this one while I charged it back up..(Casio larger font type,G-shocks & a couple of bog standard watches )But nothing matched it's performance at a price I was willing to pay.So now when I'm just off out and spot the battery is low, I simply pop the low one on charge & switch on the fully charged one & head out with full awareness of time, day and date, at a glance for the next week or so.How Xiaomi make such quality products at such affordable prices I have no idea,But as a company every item I've bought has been excellent quality .

What a cracking watch. I bought this for my partner but I've had one for 6 months and love it.It might take a bit of patience to set it up on the software side. There's a couple of videos on YouTube that'll help a lot. But it's not difficult.I use the watch to make and answer calls and it's been flawless. Just remember to adjust the volume settings on your phone WHILE in a call.The audio is good for both parties. The only small limitation that I've found is that you can only import a max of 10 contacts to the phone. Anyone else you'll have use the phone, although you can type a phone number directly into the watch. I have trouble remembering the date never mind a pile of phone numbers!There's a host of watch faces that you can use and it's even possible to import a photo to use as a background for the watch face!My partner uses hers to record how many steps and how much sleep she's completed. I actually removed those features from my setup as I don't need a watch to tell me that I woke up at 3am and didn't get back to sleep untill 5:16am😁. The heart rate monitor might be useful though for people of our vintage.I find the strap to be a bit of a faff to get lined up. It's a press fit. I have replaced the straps on both watches for normal ones. If you plan to do likewise then you need to know the size required to fit the lugs is 22mm.I wear varifocal specs which obviously I remove at bedtime. I have an Amazon echo device which shows the time, but I can't read it without my glasses. Nor can I read a normal watch face. I can however read the font that I installed on my watch in the dark, without my specs.Battery life is exceptional. I charge mine every couple of weeks.I've got so used to answering calls on my watch over Bluetooth I nearly went out in the car without my mobile phone!

The Redmi Watch 5 Active is a decent smartwatch for the price, but it didn’t fully meet my expectations.The watch works well overall, but it’s a little too big for my wrist. The heart rate sensor is also inconsistent and sometimes doesn’t record properly. Another downside is the limited internal memory—I could only download about four watch faces before running out of space.Battery life is good, and the watch performs fine for basic daily use. However, I was expecting a bit more, especially an AMOLED display instead of the LCD screen.Overall, it’s an okay smartwatch if you’re on a budget, but there are a few compromises to be aware of.

Best, "budget range" smart watch I've had. Very similar to the Nothing Watches and they are great too. No frills or special features but does everything you need and does it well. This should probably be more like 50-60 bucks

I am not kidding when I say this but this watch is peak! I have been through 5 watches and this one has managed to survive me. If your looking for a good quality watch which isn’t to expensive this is great.

Brilliant got rid of my garmin fenix 8 got this and it's ace

Alexa doesn't work which was the reason I purchased ... Multiple attempted resets and hours spent on the internet trying to find a fix.. I'm send them back as Alexa will work once if you turn both devices off so that clearly indicates it not a fault or it would never work ...Also BEWARE !! ON CERTAIN NON SPECIFIED ANDROID PHONES YOU HAVE TO NOT ONLY KEEP THE APP RUNNING IN THE BACKGROUND WHICH DRAINS YOUR PHONE BATTERY BUT HAVE IT OPEN, (manually open the app before using Alexa)IF YOU SWIPE CLOSE THE MI FITNESS APP IT STOPS WORKING .. also the set up with Alexa and the linking of both apps is more luck than guidance by the instructionsIM SURE THERES PROBABLY A FIX BUT IM NOT WILLING TO WASTE ANY MORE TIME TRYING TO FIND ONEAlso I work in technology and it's had me scratching my head . The watch other than this is great but I think even if the Alexa function works it's not quite as easy as advertisedIt's also in BETA.. which explains a lot !

This is a great smart watch. This looks good with very good finish. The straps are standard size so you can swap them with others. The display size is big for the wrist though the strap itself can be a little small for medium men's wrists. The best thing is the battery as I certainly didn't want a watch that I charge more often than my phone and this one lasts weeks! No issues with connectivity yet and I don't plan on watching this like a hawk.I don't think I can buy an Apple or Samsung watch with just a day's battery life. I do work in data and monitoring and even medical grade devices are off by 5-10% frequently, so anything that gives consistent trends is what you want. Save your money for things that actually matter.

Comprei o Redmi Watch Active 5 e estou gostando muito! A entrega chegou super rápido, antes do prazo previsto, o que já foi um ponto muito positivo.O relógio tem um tamanho ótimo. Ele é grande, então para quem tem o pulso muito fino talvez fique um pouco chamativo, mas não é nada exagerado. Achei o design muito bonito. Só um detalhe importante: a pulseira não é branca, ela é cinza.O relógio entrega muito pelo preço. As notificações do WhatsApp aparecem normalmente, embora não seja possível responder as mensagens pelo relógio — apenas visualizar. Já para ligações, ele funciona perfeitamente! Dá para atender chamadas direto pelo relógio e o áudio é excelente.Outro ponto muito legal é a conexão com a Alexa, além das funções de monitoramento de sono, passos e atividades físicas. O timer também é ótimo e muito útil no dia a dia.No geral, é um smartwatch com excelente custo-benefício. Para quem procura qualidade sem gastar muito, vale muito a pena!

Bästa klockan jag haft, många olika urtavlor, en per dag i 200 dagar. Bra kristallklart ljud med ai brusreducering när man pratar i klockan. Inte burkigt ljud för den som lyssnar. Vattentät. Simma ,duscha, springa. 7 dagar batteri vid vibration i klockan, utan vibration 14 dagar , sparläge utan Bluetooth 30 dagar. Jag är supernöjd. Har inget att klaga på. Det bästa är att man får mycket för pengarna
