Licor 43Original, Premium Spanish Liqueur, 70cl, 31 Percent ABV, Made from a Secret Recipe with 43 Different Herbs and Spices

I was initially introduced to this drinking barraquito coffee in Tenerife. Wanted to try making it at home and this is a key ingredient. I don't even want to think about how many bottles I have got through in past 5 years. I have progessed to using this to make a hot boozy coffee with a shot of this with an espresso and a bit of frothed milk in winter and boozy coffee milkshakes in summer. It is a hard to descibe as can't think of anything else it tastes like a mix of sweet with vanilla and very mild citrus/ spice. It's a bit like adding something like a monin syrup to your drink but boozy. It is not a strong liqueur and is often on offer so good value. We love it and always have a bottle on the go.

One of my favourite liqueurs , great over ice , in hot coffee , or over ice with espresso poured over the top .Also good over ice cream

A trip down memory lane. My younger sister and I used to holiday abroad together in our teens, early twenties and came across this on one such holiday in Spain. We thought we were so cosmopolitan when we learned to order our drink in Spanish, cuarenta y tres y coca cola light por favor. 43 and diet Coca-Cola please. Over lots of ice I remember this tasted lovely. This continued on subsequent holidays over two or three years, until we moved onto something else. It was a drink never available in the uk. I couldn't believe it when some thirty odd years later, I came across this drink on Amazon purely by accident. I just had to buy a bottle for my sister, for a trip down memory lane. As soon as she received it, we both immediately said"cuarenta y tres y coca cola light por favor"Not sure if it still tastes as nice as I remember, my sister hasn't opened it yet and her tipples have changed. But for the wonderful memories its evoked, its worth five starts to me.

One of my favourite drinks, this and crystal head vodka and disaronno. Crystal Head is a lovely warm vodka, disaronno makes drinks taste like battenberg cake, and liquer 43 gives your drinks a vanilla kick.Liqueur 43, even though it is made with 43 different ingredients to give it it's unique flavour - for me it tastes exactly like vanilla. So adding this to coke or something turns it instantly into a vanilla coke. Or even a cold milk, its like a milkshake!But then adding this to lemonade... it becomes it's own thing again! It's especially nice to drink in the winter, topping it into even a warm hot drink etc or then with a nice cold drink in the summer, extremely refreshing.it's not for everyone, it is a liqueur after all so has a thicker consistency over something like whiskey, but this one is totally up in my top drinks for me, its a good price as well for how strong it is. There are many drinks out there that are full of flavour that arent that strong but this one is.If you drink it neat, your throat will burn like drinking a sour shot, its not nice, but it is so so nice added to a drink, it is a very overwhelming flavour which will give everything that vanilla kick to it.I absolutely love this drink, and not a lot of places actually sell it which drives me crazy, so i end up ordering disaronno instead. which isnt the same taste at all, but same kind of thing.
