A breeze to use even I could use them and understand them. What’s not to like?They’re color coded. Tested 3 water samples of different sources and they were fairly the same so, I added salt and sodium hit off the charts as well as chlorine. Added baking soda and ph came down . There is nothing about arsenic or jet fuel, but you can’t have everything!

These strips are super easy to use with quick readings. As our contractor dug out the hill for our walkout basement he exposed water leakage. The HOA utility person came out and tested to verify that it was a water main leak. After repair of that leak water flow continued. I purchased these strips and quickly identified that additional (chlorinated) water leaks continued. This helped us move the HOA into further testing and finding additional leaks. The struggle continues, but we will continue to use these strips to help us in our fight.

I got this kit mainly for the bacteria tests included. I wanted to test my natural spring water. Still waiting for the bacteria test as it takes 48 hours, so I experimented with the strips on the spring water, tap water, and bottled water. I pictured each one. Very interesting to see. Tap water had the most chlorine of course. Bottle water had the lowest alkalinity. The rest was close to all the same results.Update: Checked the bacteria test after 48 hours and it does show a slight color change from the yellow liquid to slightly green. It's been cold here though so it was hard to keep the bottle above 69°F as recommended so it may have changed more idk. I plan to use the 2nd test later on in warmer weather.

Great product and would highly recommend

Tried using with a variety of different water sources and the strip always comes out exactly the same.I want to check the alkalinity of my water. So I bought alkaline water (3 different brands), used tapwater, used filtered water from the refrigerator, and used Britta filtered water, and purchases bottled water. All registered exactly the same alkalinity: at level five which is very acidic. so these strips are a complete waste of time and money and I still don’t know the alkalinity of my water.

I used these strips on Tap, Faucet Filtered, & an RO System, but there was really, very little difference between the 3, which surprised me very much. We have very hard mountain water. Also, having to look-up all the 'water chems. & component saturations,' is not what i've had time for yet. Are all the components 'bad for human consumption' ? It'd be nice to have an explanation of each one, instead of just high or low indicators.Frustrating.

Was just delivered. The plastic vile is cracked halfway down. (2") Didn't realize it until I put water in it. I suppose that I can put some tape around it. But, was disappointed with that. Otherwise, everything else was intact. I had to come look at the reviews. I didn't see the color chart on the back of the bottle.

I'm trying to track a bad taste in my fridge water.I've used the strips for both, tap water, boiled water and fridge (waterline)all showed the same results.The fridge water, smalls like chemicals, and also tastes like it, I'm surprised it didnt show somethingJust putting it out there in case anyone is interested
