As close to perfect as a pocketknife gets
Everything I wanted and nothing I didn't need in a pocket knife. Slim, well made, always in my pocket, everything I need including a nail file and a great blade. I don't need to carry a saw and a corkscrew and a pair of scissors! Come on! This is near perfection in a pocketknife. Love it.

A knife only needs a good blade and a handle
Knife quality:Chose this particular pocket knife for a mini survival kit. Friend always keeps breath mints with her, so all items were chosen to fit inside an Altoids box. Has just one sharp, fairly large blade of quality stainless steel. No scissors, screwdriver assortment, or corkscrew in case you find an unopened bottle of wine while lost in the woods. Grip is also attractive stainless steel with grippy surface. See photo.

My favorite pocket knife by far.
Perfect pocket knife. If you want to buy a pocket knife for someone who doesn't have one this is very easy to get used to carrying. And before long it becomes essential. In fact this is the third one because it's so comfortable I forget and carry it to the airport.

High quality slim pocket knife
Slim and well made pocket knife that is easy to get blade out. If you only need the knife and no other attachments, this is a very good option. I bought 4.

High Quality, Super Light Weight, Bargain
There are plenty of good reviews here. I’ll focus mine on the single stack SAK 1 model here, vs the 2-3 stack models. I’ve owned the 2&3 stack. This is my first single. Big fan of Alox SAK line. I like this knife a lot.I’ll start by saying I like the 2 layer electrician best, but I lost it. Ive been carrying a 3 layer Pioneer X which is a fantastic multi tool. This is the larger knife in the pictures. It feels like a brick in your pocket compared to the single layer. The beauty of this knife is that it disappears in you pocket. It’s worth buying just for that. It also will not freak out someone who does not carry a knife because it’s hardly tactical and kinda “pretty”.You can’t feel it at all. It’s really (almost too) thin. To me the 2 layer feels best in hand for use. This single layer is for light duty cutting. It does not have a grip to press hard. I used to put out (a lot) of pine straw and it did an excellent job. Easy to see silver color when you leave it open in the next bale. Maybe I won’t loose it. Easy to clean with one blade (simple is good)My only gripe. It’s a SAK. It has one tool, duh it’s supposed to. There is a spot for a second tool on the opposite side of the blade . This defeats the “solo” idea, but why not make a model with an opener or a punch, or scissors on the opposite side??? I’d buy that one. The punch is perfect for opening boxes. This model has a unique curved spring. The blade also seems unique in that it’s straight, not beveled. Adding a second tool means you use existing SAK parts. Put liners on it fatten it up a bit. It would feel better and weigh nothing. Build one with a short blade and scissors and call it the TSA. It would sell to travelers. This is a nice looking knife with the curved spring. It’s an awesome value and a practical, easy to carry tool. Get one and support our Swiss friends. Pioneer X is going in a bag.

Almost perfect but...
The media could not be loaded. Almost perfect but, I'll still give it 5 stars. It still gets 5 stars because of the build quality. It is phenomenal. The quality is what you can expect from Victorinox. I am a huge edc guy and purchased this to rotate with my Case 6220 as a backup to whatever knife I'm carrying. This piece is simple, practical, and just a beautiful piece in my opinion. There is no blade play whatsoever and it is smooth when deploying. The main reason I say it's almost perfect is because of the factory edge. It was not up to my expectations but, it only took a little bit of effort on my part to sharpen it. I like my blades sharp! I "test" for sharpness by its ability to cut through paper or shave hair right off my arm. It's an excellent tool and it will definitely be seeing a lot of pocket time.
