Superb
Loved these issues when they came out initially and it is a joy to re-read them. It is a pity there are no real bonus items (other than a few minor pin-ups). The artwork is superb throughout though some of the pages are not as crisp as perhaps they could be - certainly I recall the artwork being sharper than that in the original comics but that is a minor quibble considering how good Perez's artwork is and the stories themselves. Still, for the price, it is a gem of an omnibus edition and I am already tempted to buy volume 2. Have to admit to be influenced by the recent Netflix release of 'Titans' to remind myself how good these old tales were.

Perfect on Kindle
What could I say about this collection that has not already been said?Yes the stories are wonderful, the characters fully rounded, the villains classic and the struggles truely 'titanic' but on Kindle - or any other tablet I presume - the artwork is pristine and the panel-by-panel reading experience immerses the reader in the action better than the Original product! It makes for a refreshing 'newness' to these classic tales I highly recommend!

More than Sidekicks!
Omnibus Content: This new edition contains DC comics presents #26, the new teen titans #1-20, tales of the new teen titans #1-4. Extras include a new forward, afterword by Marv Wolfman, and concept art. Page count: 688.Story (Spoiler free): This is my first time reading a teen titan comic and I’m only a third of the way through, the story is enjoyable and fast passed. There is a host of different characters with intriguing and interesting back stories, this is the most appealing aspect of the omnibus the characters motivations and interactions amongst themselves. So far, there is an overarching plot with villains that seem two-dimensional at first only to have the reader's expectations turned on its head. This my first time experiencing a Marv Wolfman and George Perez comic and it's definitely worth it.One thing to note as its’ from the 80’s there is a lot of dialogue compared to modern-day comics, as a result, the characters at times talk about what is happening in the panel instead of letting the art speak for its self. After a few issues, I stopped noticing this as much as the story had gripped me.Art: The artwork is detailed with strong facial expressions and the colouring is true to its original source as far as I can tell.Binding: The binding is a combination of sewn and glued. this allows the pages to sit nicely when reading on a table. There is no gutter loss and everything is easily read. The paper quality is thick and non-transparent.Overall this is an enjoyable read and worth picking up.
