This thing was super easy too set up out of the box it's built like a.tank and is surprisingly big sized it's still functioning after a LOT of my abuse haha super durable and a.great use of money

Love this thing. I have used bigger propane versions and this is so much easier to use. Love the digital controls. Makes casting jewelry and coins so much easier

Very easy set up. Pretty self explanatory. Only downside is that the tongs are very strong and I accidentally dropped my crucible on my first attempt. Once you get the hang of it, it really does the job perfectly.

I bought this melting machine and look good but too small for my purposes but the seller is great and quick responding…. So 5 starts for him but I can’t rate the product since I won’t be available to used and I got refunded my money.

Absolutely horrible waste of money. It destroyed its self on the first use. I followed all instructions and it barely made one 5oz silver cast. The temperature readings are extremely inaccurate with 300⁰f differences from the output reading to smelting thermometer.Tryed using it today and it will hot heat, or run the fan. The heating element is completely destroyed. I got one use out of this and it only ran for a little over 1 hour.The only good thing about this kit was the gloves. Save your money and buy a better brand. Vevor is becoming harbor freight quality

I'm sure this foundry is wonderful but mine did not include the red hose pictured, or the 90 degree handle shutoff valve.Since I had carved out time with a friend to do this and only discovered as we were unboxing together on our scheduled "melt-day", we ran to the hardware store and bought 3/8 hose and the necessary fittings and shut-off valve to attach the tank to the burner pipe as we saw in the images. Unfortunately, something must still be missing internal in the burner pipe because the flame has no "jet" to it. Opening the choke has no effect (expected to slide the choke and get a nice strong jet). I feel like there must be a venturi piece that is supposed to be in the pipe to create the velocity required. We managed to make a few aluminum cans hot, but nothing can be melted until it's complete.So all in all, can't use it and wasted more money at the hardware store trying to save the melt-day.Any way I can get the missing parts shipped out ASAP? I'm happy to change my review after I can try it!

The forge is exactly like the Devil Forge I currently own. I can see no physical differences in the smelter itself. There is a difference in regulator gauge (this one is more robust) and the pipe into the smelter. Just like with Devil Forge, you need to buy refractory cement to seal the wool so that it works at its maximum and also prevents you from breathing in fibers. I'm very happy!

The media could not be loaded. AWESOMENESS, great for the cost. Gloves were holy before even putting on. Gloves 😂 didn't not last but one time even before wearing them. So for anyone out there wanting to get into this just note that the furnace is good. You should always buy your own PPE Personal Protection Equipment.
