The stand assist was purchased for our mother who is currently in a nursing home in order to bring her home, we would need to have a stand assist in the house. This one works great! I would highly recommend it for anyone that is needing this type of equipment in their home so they loved one can be assisted whenever necessary with standing. She was easily able to use the product. it was easily adjustable to any size for anyone that may need to use it whether big or small.

I think this equipment works better with a younger person and more strength. It’s built very sturdy and goes over threshold thresholds and carpet pretty well. I think it’s the placement of the bars. It’s difficult to help an elderly person dress This design.I also wish the seats weren’t just something to lean against but rather actually sit. Having said that it’s a good product for the price

Purchased this stand assist to use to help with transfers between bed/wheelchair and bathroom. It has nice features for the price. When it arrived, the pieces appeared to be of good quality, well made and sturdy construction. BUT it is big! The critical dimension of width is not specified on the dimensional picture on the Amazon page. It does provide the range that the bottom will “scissor” between, using the foot pedals, but not the width at the pivot point, which will not change. That dimension measures 27.5 inches, which is exactly the inner dimension of our bathroom door. There was no clearance to get through the bathroom door. As a result, we are returning it and getting the older, smaller version. I am hoping that it will be as well-made as this one.

This is a back saver and helps our adult daughter while rehabbing. Would highly recommend!

I purchased this unit for my mother who has difficulty transferring from one seated unit to another. With this transport, we were able to help her stand onto the unit and the pads behind kept her from falling.We could move her where she needed to be with little difficulty. It was a true god send and I strongly recommend it to anyone with mobility issues. I would give this product an A+.

I bought the machine for my father, who has COPD. After sorting the furniture around, he can now be moved throughout the entire apartment without having to walk and risk losing breath. I highly recommend this machine.
