Hands down the best surveillance HD on the market.
I bought this new, not renewed. This hard drive has been running in my Lorex NVR 24/7 for the last 5 years and 3 months, without a single issue. (and still going strong) It's not used in ideal conditions either, its located in my non-climate controlled work shop. Its very dusty, hot and humid in the summer and at or below freezing temps in the winters. I previously used Seagate Skyhawk and WD Purple drives, none of which last more than a year or two in these same conditions. 100% recommended! Hands down the best surveillance HD on the market.

I bought 4 of these and 1 was a different series
I wish the 4th hard drive was the same series as the other 3 as I wanted matched components in the array . It was fussy with a zero array - so I just did a bunch of disks configuration along with a single larger backup drive. I ordered them separately so maybe I just ordered the wrong one ? Anyways they work great and come with a warranty 2-5 years depending on models . The price can't be beat anywhere ...

Great value for a good drive
I was a little apprehensive after using other white label drives with poor results, but this drive seems to be in excellent working condition. The SMART status shows all tests have passed and an Unraid pre-clear completed without any issues.

Poor quality control
My drive was defective. The pin connectors were exposed. Poor quality control. I will avoid MDD.

4 tb Internal Hard Drive for Security Cameras
The 4 tb Internal Hard Drive for my home Security Cameras was very easy to install and format. I was able to see all 4 tb after formatting the hard drive and then it was up and recording in under 10 minutes. FYI/ Watch some of the YouTube video tutorials on how to install and format the hard drive it does help.

DO NOT BUY. The HDD was dead on arrival. I plugged it in and it started throwing errors instantly. it says 4TB, but shows the firmware of a Seagate 2TB and the OS sees in 137 GB only. I bought this in Jan 28th and the return by date as 7th Feb. Unfortunately for me, I decided to open the box and test it today (Feb 19) so I am stuck with it. If I choose Zero stars, i would prefer that.

was broken when I received. As soon i power it up an awful grinding noise started. On his way back, still waiting for the refund. :-(

Received a non-working hard drive. Tried returning it but the delivery partner returns it back after 2–3 days. No proper support from Amazon. Waste of money. Avoid this product!
