Q: Does it sink or float?

It sinks. I just put it in my pool under my ladder. It floated until I pushed it down to the bottom.

Q: Want to put on ladder steps leading up to deck.will this stick on steps? Current steps are slippery when wet

(not sure my first attempt posted - sorry if this is a duplicate) This mat is meant to sit on the bottom of the pool to protect the liner from the bottom rung of an in-pool ladder. It doesn't have any adhesive on either side so it wouldn't stick to your deck steps without some kind of glue or double-sided carpet tape. Q: Is this a DARK blue color? I'm looking for one that is darker blue, the one I have now is light blue & really stands out & is ugly against my liner.

It is a fairly dark blue. My liner is sky blue and it is much darker.
