I bought the unit that came with ceramic filter and fluoride filter although I just couldn't figure out how to get the fluoride filter on I just ended up using both of the ceramic filters. The water tastes great.

Works great. Be patient when flushing out the filters, it takes some effort. Spectacular results.

I like to use filter water in my ice machine as filtered water extends the life of the ice matching and I think it tastes better. So this little gem sits right next to my ice machine. I fill my ice machine a couple of times a day with filtered water. I took some of the filtered water to work with me and told my friend that one of the cups had tap water and one had filtered water. She could tell in one sip which one was the filtered water and she wants me to get one for our clinic! It is simple to assemble and you just pour water in the top where the filters are and let gravity do the rest. The only problem I have with it is that I tend to overfill it and then I have a mess on hand but at least it is only filtered water. I have done quite a bit of research on whether or not it is safe to drink gravity-filtered water when there is a boil water order in effect like there is after a floor or broker city pipes and the answer is that even with filtration you should still boil your water. You are probably safe to skip boiling but if you can take the extra time it takes to boil the for 5 minutes, why not?
