I needed an extra hob while the kitchen fitters re-routed our gas pipe, and this Aobosi double plate filled the gap beautifully and didn’t hog the limited worktop space. I plugged it into an extension reel, set a pan of water on the left zone, and my teabag barely had time to unfurl before it was boiling. On Saturday evening I cooked spaghetti for the children after hill-walking, the sauce simmered gently on the right plate while the pasta rolled away on the left, and I flicked between 120 and 180 degrees with a quick tap, that fine 20-step scale lets you nudge the heat rather than guess. When I needed a breather to towel off the collie, the four-hour timer meant I didn’t have to hover nervously as I do with our old gas rings. Clean-up was a single swipe with a damp cloth, no burnt rings because, well, nothing gets hot but the pans. Credit where it’s due, the keep-warm button held soup at a steady 80 degrees through story time, no skin forming. For build, safety lock, and sheer speed, I rate it excellent quality and solid value. It has already earned a permanent spot in the camper van for trips, even if the packaging made me wrestle with an alarming amount of tape.

I have been using this hob As a full time, daily driver for my meal prep. Firstly, it is well made with quality materials and is sturdy. There is plenty of space for even large pans which is great. I love the dual controls which are responsive and easy to use making using two pans at the same time very easy. It boils quickly and performs very well. The hob surface is so easy to clean as it is 1 flat surface of high quality tempered glass. Just a few quick wipes and it’s all good to go for next time. The lock feature is also very useful in preventing the hobs from being accidentally turned on, especially when cleaning, although they wont heat up anyway unless a pan is on the hob so it is very safe. The auto shutoff makes it even safer so it gives peace of mind. I use mine in the kitchen in a permanent place but if you need to carry yours about between locations it is very light, surprisingly so, so there will no issues there. For the price I have very impressed with the quality of the build, the materials and also the function of this hob. I recommend it for anyone looking for high quality hob they can use as a full time replacement for a traditional fixed oven hob or a hob that needs to be transported regularly. Either way it is great. I had to contact the manufacturer for support (NOT due to a manufacturer issue with the item) and the support was very very good. Very swift response and they bent over backwards to help. I was really impressed. Overall I would definitely buying this hob in confidence and knowing you will get amazing support for their products means I will be looking at what else they might sell. AA********

Very pleased with this double induction hob. It heats up quickly, easy to use and clean. The dual burners are convenient for cooking multiple dishes at once. excellent value for the price.

The hob comes well packaged and protected. It appears to be a high quality product. I previously purchased a DUXTOP induction hob to see if induction was for us .. we were most impressed and after 6 months decided to buy a double and discontinue using gas. Unfortunately DUXTOP do not make doubles for the UK so I decided to buy the Aobosi twin hob. On trying for the first time I found it would not simmer food but reduced power by turning on and off. However the left hob did reduce power but only down to 1000 watts. And then started pulsing. I now know that some induction hobs use pulsing to reduce power but there are some that reduce power to a much lower level before pulsing thus enabling proper simmering of food. I decided to return the product and will purchase 2 single Duxtops to meet my need. This is no reflection on the Aobosi as it is a good product and works as designed and is a good buy if you are not bothered by the low level pulsing. Hence four stars.
