The Last Party : Torre, A R: desertcart.ae: Books Review: I have DNF it in page 128 😶 I said this was my last attempt but I couldn't even finish the book. Definitely this author isn't for me. Why would I waste my time reading something that is not worthy when I could be giving a chance to a fantastic book? I'm not going to talk about the plot, if someone wants to let me know how it ends and if it's as predictable as I think it is, please do. It's inconceivable for me to like a book if I hate the main character and when the author tries to create a "posh" and "corny" circle when talking about a psycopath... it's more disgusting. This might be a controversial opinion ( I'm unaware of this author's personality and lifestyle) but it feels like in all her books she writes about the life she doesn't have and wants to. Like she talks about her "fantasies", how much she would love to be a Real Housewife of __ and surround herself with insecure women whose only concerns are to be attractive and steal their friends husbands. She only writes about these things so... (plus that she also might wanted to become a doctor and she couldn't). I'm sorry, but I'm not 😅🫠 Review: Nice book - not a crazy plottwist but the end still had me in a chokehold.

Ordered the first one, corners all bent. Did an exchanged and the second book was even worse! The cover was worn, all 4 edges bent and page was bent right down the middle. I like my books crisp! Haha!
