Great HDMI over Ethernet extender
The "cenmate 1080p@60Hz HDMI Extender Over Single Cat5e/Cat6/Cat 7, Up to 164 FT, HDMI Over Ethernet, Supports Bidirectional IR, 3D, HDCP, EDID, POC" I received works very well.I tested these using a ATEM Streaming bridge to an HDMI splitter where one split went to a different HDMI over Ethernet extender to a far away monitor, then the second hdmi out went to this Transmitter. The receiver went to a Sony 4k monitor. It fired up and worked using a 150 foot Cat6 cable after setting the dip switches to 1. It works without flaw.Yes, there is a little latency, but not much and is expected for budget extenders. There are some with true zero loss and no latency, but they are priced much higher than this one. The image reproduction on this extender is very good however.I use these to run video in other rooms and for presentations. I have no issues with it. It just works as described. Worthy of consideration.

Easy way to solve a problem
Great way to extend hdmi without having to use actual hdmi. This nice inexpensive solution saved me a fortune, and was easily installed myself. Couldn't be simpler to use. Picture quality is perfect, identical as if I'd used a 6 foot hdmi cable. Very happy!

Excellent HDMI extender
I'm using this to power a Zwift setup in the garage. I'm using a ~30 foot ethernet cable between the adapters and it runs flawlessly. No lag between the Apple TV 4k and the TV.

Instructions could be better
This thing does work, but it's a bit hard to troubleshoot when it doesn't. At first I wasn't getting any signal through at all. Once I did, I had a little trouble getting a Raspberry Pi to use the right desktop size but didn't spend too long messing with it. With a streaming stick and whatever magical order of connections it needs, once it was going it seemed to Just Work™ on the monitor I was using to test.I tried it with a variety of Ethernet cables, a couple quite long and it worked with all of them. Except for the times when it _didn't_ work with all of them — I don't know if it was due to the order I plugged things in or what but sometimes the receiver side light would only come on momentarily and then go out and no HDMI signal would show up 🤷 I don't think there's anything particularly broken with them, but maybe just a combo of user error and pretty minimal/oversimplified instructions. I did test the IR at least in the direction from the receiver back to the transmitter and it worked so long as the HDMI side was working too at least.Speaking of the instructions: it didn't come with any information about the DIP switches for the EDID setting! If you leave them all down (to the ON ↓ position) it should pass through the EDID information from the connected monitor. I haven't confirmed yet with any EDID utility app, but I tracked down some information that ON - off - ON (left-to-right, i.e. switch 1 to on/down, switch 2 to off/up, switch 3 to on/down) should force it to support a 1080p@30/1080i@60/720p@60 with stereo audio. And ON - off - off should force it to 1080p@60 with stereo. (The reseller here won't confirm but rather just recommends you not mess with the switch at all— so why include it as a feature then? 😆)
